Electric Stair Lift
An electric stair lift system for transporting people and/or cargo up and down a flight of stairs includes a pair of parallel rails, a platform that is slidably engaged with the rails, an electric winch with a take-up spool, and pair of straps attached between the slidable platform and the take-up spool of the winch. In a preferred embodiment, the electric stair lift system is portable, so that it may be installed in such a way that it may be easily removed, stored and transported, as desired.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A PLATFORM LIFT RAIL
A method of manufacturing a platform lift rail having a curved direction of travel. The platform lift includes a rail and a drive unit configured to drive along the rail. The rail includes a tubular section for supporting the drive unit and a rack section adapted for positively engaging with driving means of the drive unit. The method includes providing a metal sheet, plastic forming, in a first forming step, the metal sheet into a tubular profile, closing the tubular profile and forming a projecting flange by connecting opposite faces of the metal sheet, permanently fixing the flange by joining the opposite faces in the area of the projecting flange, creating positive engagement means into the projecting flange, and plastic forming, in a second forming step, the metal sheet to provide the rail with a curved direction of travel.

In a preferred embodiment, the electric stair lift system is portable, so that it may be installed in such a way that it may be easily removed, stored and transported, as desired.
IMPROVEMENTS IN OR RELATED TO STAIRLIFTS
A stairlift rail is configured to cause a stairlift carriage and chair to rotate a small amount in a downhill direction adjacent to the lower end of the rail, thus avoiding a clash between the chair and the staircase.
Electric Stair Lift

In a preferred embodiment, the electric stair lift system is portable, so that it may be installed in such a way that it may be easily removed, stored and transported, as desired.
METHOD TO DETERMINE A SPEED PROFILE FOR A STAIRLIFT
Embodiments described herein are directed to a method to determine a speed profile for a stairlift, wherein the stairlift includes a guide device, a carriage, and user interaction device. The carriage is rotatable around a vertical axle by a first drive. A specific mass moment of inertia for a specific person is determined by measuring a correlation between applied torque and resulting rotational acceleration for the first drive or the specific mass moment of inertia for a specific person is determined by measuring the specific persons weight while the specific person is carried on the carriage. An optimal torque is set according to the specific mass moment of inertia. The speed profile is determined applying at the most the optimal torque with the first drive.
Device and rail system for conveying a load from a first to a second level, in particular a stair lift
A device (1) for conveying a load from a first to a second level, in particular a stair lift (4), comprising a rail (3) and a frame (9) which is movable along said rail (3), on which a load carrier (10) is mounted and which is provided with support and guide means (16, 17, 33, 36) that engage around at least part of the rail (3), which rail (3) extends above steps of a staircase near a wall or a handrail on one side of the staircase, the rail (3) comprising a tube and a strip (6) that extends radially away from the tube surface, which strip (6) is engaged by the support and guide means (16, 17, 33, 36), whereby the strip (6) extends obliquely from the tube in a direction that extends between the horizontal direction toward the wall or the handrail and the vertical direction toward the steps.
Apparatus for ascending and descending stairs with a wheelchair
An apparatus that permits a wheelchair to traverse stairs. A carriage platform supporting the wheelchair is housed in an inclined ways assembly and moves by means of a rotated threaded rod supported in the ways and traveling nuts fixed to the carriage; a debarkation ramp hinged to the carriage, spans the distance and elevation difference between the carriage and the desired landing point.
Section of stairlift guide rail and kit
A section of stairlift guide rail having two holes for attaching to another section of stairlift guide rail is described. The two holes are positioned symmetrically about a point along one edge of the section, wherein at least one of the two holes is further configured to have a bracket for mounting the section attached thereto.
Stair lifting chair
A stair lifting chair includes a chair, a first guiding assembly, and a second guiding assembly. The first guiding assembly includes a guiding frame and a first cleaning member. The first guiding frame includes a first inner space for the first rail passing therethrough. The first cleaning member is disposed at the first guiding frame to clean a first outer surface of the first rail. The second guiding assembly includes a second guiding frame and a second cleaning member. The second guiding frame includes a second inner space for the second rail passing therethrough. The second cleaning member is disposed at the second guiding frame to clean a second outer surface of the second rail.
