AIR TREATMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An air treatment unit may include an air inlet to receive a flow of input air for treatment and a reaction reservoir configured to hold an aqueous air treatment solution. The air treatment unit may also include an air dispersing element flow connected with the air inlet, wherein the air dispersing element is configured to convert at least a portion of the flow of input air into a plurality of microbubbles for introduction into the aqueous air treatment solution, such that an amount of one or more target gas species contained within the plurality of microbubbles is reduced through reaction with the aqueous air treatment solution. The unit may include an air outlet configured to output treated air from the reaction reservoir.
Elevator cab air purification
An illustrative example embodiment of an elevator cab air purification device includes a housing having an inlet, an outlet, and at least one air pathway between the inlet and the outlet. A fan module is situated to cause air flow into the housing through the inlet, through the housing, and out of the housing through the outlet. The air flow through the housing includes air flow along the at least one pathway in at least a first direction. An air purifier is situated within the housing and configured to purify air that flows along the at least one pathway before the air exits the housing through the outlet.
EMERGENCY ELEVATOR
An emergency elevator includes a door frame installed on upper, left and right sides of an entrance of an elevator platform, an elevator car configured to vertically move along an elevator passage and provided with a pair of elevator doors, a pair of platform doors installed in the door frame, a lower frame installed on a lower side of the entrance of the elevator platform and configured to slidably support the platform doors, an upper door rim installed on an upper side of the platform doors, a side door rim vertically installed at a lateral end of the platform doors, an oxygen supply device configured to supply oxygen to a patient in the elevator car, an emergency ventilation device configured to supply a purified air into the elevator car, and a filter device provided in the blowing duct so as to remove harmful substances introduced into the elevator car.
Elevator car and elevator
An elevator car includes a car box. The car box includes a frame structure that includes a floor element, vertical beams connected to the floor element, and roof beams connected to the vertical beams. The car box further includes walls, each including wall elements of rectangular shape fixed side-by-side to the frame structure and extending from one edge side of the car box to another. The car box includes a roof including roof elements of rectangular shape fixed side-by-side to the frame structure and extending from one edge side of the car box to another. The car box includes and interior bounded by at least the floor element, the walls, and the roof. At least on set of elements, of the roof elements and the wall elements, includes elements associated with separate, respective integrated functionalities.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INCREASING FRESH AIR FLOW INSIDE AN ELEVATOR CAB
A ventilation system for an elevator cab including one or more reversible supply and exhaust fans wherein at least one of the exhaust fans is mounted on the top of the elevator cab, an air-quality monitor affixed to a side wall inside of the elevator cab wherein the air-quality monitor has a user interface for displaying air-quality information to a passenger, and an HVAC system having one or more ducts for delivering at east 150 CFM of ventilation air through the elevator's hoistway, to the elevator cab.
Air sterilizing elevator cab and methods
An elevator cab and method of sterilizing the air of an elevator comprising, a plenum configured to fluidly connect to an interior of the elevator cab, at least one intake formed in the side walls of the elevator cab and in fluid communication with the plenum, a fan configured to draw air from the elevator cab via the intake duct and the plenum, and a kill box, including a source of ultraviolet C (UVC) light, and configured to receive air via the fan, wherein the UVC light is configured to sterilize air removed from the elevator cab.
ELEVATOR PRESSURIZATION
A method of pressurizing an elevator (112) includes pressurizing a lobby (102) to a pressure (P2) different from ambient pressure (P1) at the elevation of the lobby (102). Pressurizing the lobby (102) can generally include pressurizing the lobby (102) to a pressure (P2) between the ambient pressure (P1) at the elevation of the lobby (102) and an ambient pressure (P6) at a destination elevation. This can allow for at least some equalization of the inner ears of passengers to take place while passengers are waiting to pass from the lobby (102) into the elevator cab (112), or waiting to pass from the lobby (102) into the ambient pressure (P1) of the building outside the lobby (102).
ENCLOSED SPACE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS
Enclosed space air conditioning systems having air conditioning module(s) with an enclosure defining a cavity, a thermoelectric element arranged to condition air within the cavity, an air direction mechanism to direct air from the cavity into an enclosed space, and an electronics package for controlling the air direction mechanism and the thermoelectric element, the electronics package including a detection element to detect when an occupant in the enclosed space is in proximity of the at least one air conditioning module. The electronics package is configured to activate the air direction mechanism and/or the thermoelectric element when the occupant is detected, deactivate the activated air direction mechanism and/or thermoelectric element when the occupant is no longer in proximity, and/or activate the air direction mechanism and/or the thermoelectric element to maintain an enclosed space preset condition.
ELEVATOR AMBIANCE VARIATOR
An elevator car control panel is provided. The elevator car control panel includes buttons by which one or more passengers of the elevator car control ascension and declension of the elevator car, an opening and closing of doors of the elevator car, an alarm and contact with an administrator and a variator by which one or more passengers control an elevator car atmospheric condition.
