ELEVATOR ARRANGEMENT
The invention relates to an elevator arrangement having an elevator comprising an elevator car arranged to run up and down in an elevator shaft along guide rails, an elevator operating system, a control system, a safety system, and an inspection or maintenance mode. The elevator car comprises a roof, a plurality of car walls and a car door. A working connection from inside the elevator car to the elevator shaft is formed via opening a part of or the whole roof of the elevator car and/or a part of or the whole wall of the elevator car and/or the car door. The safety system is arranged to prevent the elevator car from moving if a weight on the roof of the elevator car exceeds a predetermined threshold value.
ELEVATOR ARRANGEMENT TO OPEN THE ROOF OF AN ELEVATOR CAR
The invention relates to an elevator arrangement comprising an elevator with a control system, and an inspection or maintenance mode, which elevator further comprises an elevator car arranged to run up and down in an elevator shaft along its guide rails, and which elevator car is equipped with a roof and a car operating panel. The arrangement comprises actuating means to open the roof of the elevator car, which actuating means are operatively connected to the car operating panel of the elevator.
ELEVATOR ARRANGEMENT FOR SAFE MAINTENANCE WORK
The invention relates to an elevator arrangement comprising an elevator with an inspection or maintenance mode controlled by a maintenance control unit, which elevator further comprises an elevator car and a counterweight or balance weight, and which elevator car is equipped with a roof. The elevator car comprises at least at one upper corner inside the elevator car a sheltered casing inside which at least a part of the electric appliances of the elevator car is situated, and that the roof is arranged to open outwards from the elevator car in order to form a working connection from inside the elevator car to the elevator shaft, and to open an access to the casing.
ELEVATOR ARRANGEMENT AND ELEVATOR
The invention relates to an elevator arrangement comprising an elevator with an elevator control system, a safety system and an inspection or maintenance mode, which elevator having an elevator car arranged to run up and down in an elevator shaft along guide rails, and which elevator car is equipped with a roof. The roof of the elevator car is arranged to uncover upper part of the elevator car in order to form a natural safe working space inside the elevator car, and that the arrangement comprises a control mechanism in order to control the position of the roof.
Locking system for trap or panels of an elevator car and method of controlling access to an elevator shaft from inside the car
A locking system for an elevator car includes a moveable panel of the elevator car moveable between an open position and a closed position, wherein the open position provides access to a region external to the elevator car. Also included is a plate operatively coupled to an exterior surface of the moveable panel. Further included is a magnetic locking member operatively coupled to an exterior surface of a fixed panel of the elevator car in communication with an electrical member, wherein the plate exerts magnetic forces with the magnetic locking member, the magnetic locking member magnetically coupled to the plate in a first electrical condition of the electrical member to maintain the moveable panel in the closed position and decoupled from the plate in a second electrical condition of the electrical member to allow the moveable panel to be moved to the open position.
ELEVATOR CAR, ELEVATOR SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MAINTAINING AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM
An elevator car (4) comprises at least two maintenance openings (14, 16): an overhead maintenance opening (14) provided in the ceiling of the elevator car (4) for providing access to at least one component arranged on top of and/or above the elevator car (4) and a lateral maintenance opening (16) provided in one sidewall (18) of the car for providing access to at least one component arranged besides the elevator car (4).
Battery installed in elevator car
An elevator system includes a hoistway and an elevator car suspended in the hoistway via a suspension member and drivable along the hoistway. The elevator car includes an elevator car panel and a battery pocket positioned in the elevator car panel. A battery is removably positioned in the battery pocket. The battery and the battery pocket are configured such that inspection, maintenance and/or repair of the battery is performed without entry into the hoistway of the elevator system. A method of servicing an elevator system includes driving an elevator car along a hoistway and stopping the elevator car near a selected elevator landing floor. A battery is at least partially removed from a battery pocket at the elevator car via a technician located at the selected elevator landing floor for inspection, maintenance, replacement and/or repair.
Elevator car upper handrail apparatus
An elevator car upper handrail apparatus, in which a connecting body is provided between respective ends of first and second side handrails on a landing side. The connecting body includes an opening/closing member which is rotatable between a closed position, in which a path for movement of a worker from a landing to a car upper surface is closed by the opening/closing member, and an open position, in which the path for movement is opened by the opening/closing member. The opening/closing member is configured to return automatically to the closed position. When the opening/closing member is in the closed position, the connecting body transmits an external force applied to one of the first and second side handrails in the width direction of a car to the other of the first and second side handrails.
Handrail used to open and close elevator car panels
An elevator car panel configured to open and methods of opening the same. The elevator car panel includes a handrail configured on a first side of the elevator car panel and a locking mechanism configured on a second side of the elevator car panel, the second side opposite the first side. The handrail is operably connected to the locking mechanism such that movement of the handrail from a first position to a second position operates the locking mechanism to transition from a locked position to an unlocked position and, when in the unlocked position, the elevator car panel is openable.
ELEVATOR HIDDEN-COMPONENT INSPECTION SYSTEMS
Elevator inspection systems having an elevator car moveable within an elevator shaft, a camera mounted to the elevator car and operable to inspect components of an elevator system, at least one hidden-component located within the elevator shaft, wherein the at least one hidden-component is a component of the elevator system that is located such that the camera cannot achieve direct, line-of-sight inspection of the hidden-component, and at least one mirror fixedly mounted to the elevator shaft and positioned such that when the camera views the at least one mirror, the camera can capture a reflected image of the at least one hidden-component.
