Connecting device and method for connecting a wall element in an elevator car
An elevator car has a connecting device and at least one wall element, wherein the connecting device connects the at least one wall element with a bare ceiling of the elevator car. The connecting device includes a rail element with two legs, of which a first leg bears in the mounted state against the bare ceiling and a second leg has a mounting surface for the at least one wall element. The mounting surface has a first hole for suspending the at least one wall element. The at least one wall element has a suspension element at an edge which faces upwardly in the mounted state for engaging into the first hole of the connecting device.
Button hook pad hanger
Embodiments are directed to protecting an elevator. A plurality of knobs may be provided, each respective knob comprising a respective base having a vertical portion, a horizontal portion, a suspension portion, and a face that are coupled to each other. Each knob may also comprise a respective stem coupled to the face of the respective base. The knobs may be hung from an upper edge of a wall panel or suspended ceiling grid in an elevator. A cover may be provided, the cover having a plurality of openings in the cover disposed along the upper edge of the cover. The cover may be hung from the knobs with each knob having the distal end portion of the respective stem extending through a respective one of the openings in the cover.
Elevator car wall
An elevator car wall includes a support construction formed of a grid structure with vertical and horizontal support rods and a surface construction formed of panels attached with panel fastening elements to the grid structure. A vertical seam profile with a U-shaped bottom portion and an I-shaped middle portion is positioned between panel rows and attached with seam profile fastening elements to the grid structure. The middle portion extends between the vertical edges of the panel rows. A portion of the panel fastening element extends into contact with an inside surface of a respective branch of the U-shaped bottom portion in order to secure the vertical side edge of the panel against the middle portion.
ELEVATOR PAD ASSEMBLY
An improved elevator pad assembly includes a plurality of closely spaced, flexible loops secured to the backside of a protective elevator pad, preferably within the upper margin near the top edge of the pad. In one embodiment, the loops are formed as part of a narrow mounting strip affixed to the back cover of the pad. Each loop lies hidden from view below the upper edge of the pad, and remains hidden from view even when fastened to a wall stud or other mounting hardware affixed to the elevator cab walls or ceiling. The flexible loops eliminate the need for grommets and make it easy to mount the pad assembly on elevator cab mounting hardware, allowing the elevator pad to be neatly positioned against the wall without bunching or sagging.
Elevator car accessory fastening element
An accessory fastening element is used to fasten an accessory to a car wall that includes a grid structure of vertical and horizontal support rods. The accessory fastening element includes a longitudinal frame extending over at least two adjacent horizontal support rods. The frame includes at least two recesses configured to receive a separate horizontal support rod to detachably couple the accessory fastening element to the horizontal support rods. A locking device is connected to the frame for locking and unlocking the accessory fastening element to the horizontal support rods. An attachment member is connected to the frame, where the attachment member may be configured to attach to the accessory via one or more fastening members.
DETACHABLE PANEL FOR AN ELEVATOR PANEL ASSEMBLY
An elevator panel assembly comprises a detachable panel (4), for covering a front surface of an elevator car panel (2b), and a separation member (7). The separation member (7) comprises a head portion (7a) received against a back surface of the detachable panel (4). The detachable panel (4) is magnetically attachable to the elevator car panel (2b) and comprises a through hole (9) which is smaller than the head portion (7a) of the separation member (7) and arranged to sit directly over the head portion (7a). The separation member (7) is configured so that a tool inserted through the through hole (9) engages with the head portion to apply a mechanical force, causing the head portion (7a) to push against the back surface of the detachable panel (4).
ELEVATOR CAB WALL PROTECTION PANEL AND USE THEREOF
Methods and apparatus for protecting an interior wall of an elevator cab against an impact force are disclosed. One such apparatus includes a face sheet for absorbing and dispersing energy from the impact force. It also includes a reversibly deformable backing connected to a back of the face sheet for absorbing energy from the impact force when the reversibly deformable backing is compressed against the interior wall by the impact force. The reversibly deformable backing is positioned between the face sheet and the interior wall when the elevator cab wall protection panel is installed. The face sheet has a higher rigidity than the reversibly deformable backing. The apparatus further includes a hanging apparatus coupled to an edge of the face sheet for hanging the elevator cab wall protection panel adjacent to the interior wall.
Elevator car including flatbar covering joint between adjacent wall elements
The invention relates to an elevator car comprising a support frame, a floor structure and a ceiling structure, as well as at least one car door, and side walls extending between the floor structure and the ceiling structure, wherein the side walls are formed from several wall elements, which are aligned end-to-end or end-to side in corners, wherein the wall elements are composite panels consisting of at least one support material and at least one noise insulating material, that the elevator car comprises at least one flatbar, extending over the surface of both adjacent wall elements, and covering the joint between them, which flatbar comprises or is connectable with fixing elements to at least one of both adjacent wall elements. Via this means the joint between two noise insulating wall elements does prevent any essential noise leakage.
Elevator car, elevator system and method of checking, maintaining and/or repairing an elevator system
An elevator car (6) comprises at least one movable wall panel (16, 18), which is movable between a closed position, in which the at least one movable wall panel (16, 18) constitutes a portion of a sidewall of the elevator car (6), and at least one open position providing an opening (24) which allows access to areas outside the elevator from inside the elevator car (6). The at least one movable wall panel (16, 18) includes a first movable wall panel (16) constituting or supporting a car operation panel (7b).
CAR CORNER BRACKET FOR JOINING TWO SIDE WALL ELEMENTS OF AN ELEVATOR CAR
A car corner bracket for joining two side wall elements of an elevator car includes two receptions for fitting in panel elements, at least one of the receptions being equipped with at least one retainer for receiving an abutment element for defining a position and/or fixing a panel element, wherein preferably at least one of the retainers is arranged in a front wall of one of the receptions.
