An elevator control input device includes at least two sensors which are configured for detecting the presence of an object, in particular a part of a human body such as a hand or a finger, within a vicinity of the respective sensor. The elevator control input device is configured for triggering a first action individually associated with the respective sensor when the object is detected to be situated closer than a first distance (d.sub.1) but further away than a second distance (d.sub.2) from the respective sensor; and for triggering a second action individually associated with the respective sensor when the object is detected to be situated closer than the second distance (d.sub.2) from the respective sensor.

Elevator system with optimized door response

A method and system for controlling a movable door associated with a passenger compartment, the door moveable between an opened position and a closed position configured to provide access to, or egress from, the passenger compartment. The method includes monitoring a landing area of the elevator door with at least one sensor, and determining a level of urgency of an approaching passenger based on the information from the at least one sensor. If the level of urgency exceeds a predetermined threshold, modifying a closing of the elevator door based on the level of urgency. The method may also include modifying a closing speed of the elevator door if the level of urgency exceeds a predetermined threshold.

Monitoring of conveyance system vibratory signatures

A method of monitoring a conveyance system is provided. The method including: monitoring vibratory signatures along a first axis of a conveyance apparatus of a conveyance system; detecting a vibratory signature along the first axis about equivalent to a vibratory signature of significant event; and examining vibratory signatures for a secondary event along at least one of the first axis and a second axis of the conveyance apparatus for at least one of a selected time period after detection of the significant event and a selected time period before detection of the significant event.

SAFETY EXIT ASSEMBLY FOR ELEVATOR CAR, AND ELEVATOR SYSTEM

A safety exit assembly for an elevator car and an elevator system. The safety exit assembly includes: a door panel, which is configured to open and close a safety exit of the elevator car, and which has an upper surface and a lower surface; a moving assembly, which includes a guide block provided on a lower surface of the door panel, and a guide rail which guides the door panel to move downward and translate through a cooperation with the guide block; a drive assembly, which drives the door panel to reciprocate along the guide rail; and a locking assembly, which includes an unlocking element provided on an upper surface of the door panel; wherein the unlocking element is electrically connected to the drive assembly, and an unlocking action of the unlocking element triggers the drive assembly to drive the door panel to move until the safety exit is opened.

DOOR CONTROLLER AND DOOR CONTROL SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING MOVEMENTS OF AT LEAST ONE DOOR LEAF OF AN ELEVATOR DOOR
20220017334 · 2022-01-20 ·

A door control system with a door controller controls shift movements of at least one door leaf of an elevator door. The door controller is configured as a slave controller to implement master instructions from an elevator controller, acting as a master controller, by actuating a door drive. The door controller is also configured to autonomously reverse a previous door leaf movement, preferably by a specified distance, when a collision of the at least one door leaf with an obstacle is detected, by appropriately actuating the door drive. In this way, even in the event of a malfunction of the elevator controller or if an elevator installation is operated in a fire mode or maintenance mode, it can be ensured that no obstacles or people are trapped in the elevator door.

ELEVATOR DOOR WITH SENSOR FOR DETERMINING WHETHER TO REOPEN DOOR
20220002116 · 2022-01-06 ·

Disclosed is a system for an elevator door of an elevator car, wherein a controller controls the elevator door to travel in a proximate direction when closing and travel in a distal direction when opening, the system including: a panel that forms an exterior surface of an elevator door, the panel including a front surface extending in a widthwise direction between a proximate end and an opposing distal end to form a front surface of the elevator door, the panel including a proximate end surface extending in a depthwise direction to form a proximate end surface of the elevator door, the proximate end surface of the panel comprising a resilient portion that is capable of engaging a sensor in the panel when the elevator door is closing, and thereafter the controller instructs the elevator door to reopen.

Elevator commissioning method, elevator commissioning system, and elevator system

The present invention relates to a method and a system of commissioning elevator, and an elevator system. The method includes obtaining at least one operation data of at least one elevator door, comparing the operation data with corresponding criterion operation data, and determining whether a deviation between the operation data and the criterion operation data exceeds a pre-set range, and if so, triggering a control over at least one control end relevant to the operation of the elevator door to make a deviation between the operation data re-obtained and the criterion operation data fall within the pre-set range. The invention will increase the efficiency in elevator commissioning and remove the adverse effects on elevator operation caused by factors such as “Stack Effect”, and thereby ensure good working condition and high security of elevators.

Measurement and diagnostic of elevator door performance using sound and video

A component monitoring system for monitoring a component of a conveyance system including a conveyance apparatus including: a camera configured to capture a sequence images of the component, the sequence of images being motion data; and a processor configured to determine an evaluation summary of the component in response to at least the motion data.

MOBILE ROBOT FOR ELEVATOR INTERACTIONS

A mobile robot is configured to operate in commercial or industrial settings, such as office buildings or retail stores. The mobile robot can have a motorized base, a robot body on the motorized base, and a mechanical arm coupled to the robot body. The mobile robot can move between floors of a building using an elevator. The mobile robot can interact with an elevator system to call an elevator to a current floor, for instance, using the mechanical arm. When a first elevator arrives to the current floor, the mobile robot identifies that doors of the first elevator are opening and interacts with the elevator system again to cause the first elevator to remain at the current floor. After the interaction, the mobile robot moves toward a target location within the first elevator.
