HYBRID FLOOR TERMINAL FOR AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM
The invention relates to a floor terminal for an elevator system in a building, comprising an elevator operating terminal and a wireless network device. The elevator operating terminal has a user interface for calling an elevator cabin, an elevator data interface for communicating data with an elevator controller, and a processing device which is coupled to the user interface and the elevator data interface. The wireless network device has a wireless transceiver for communicating with a communication device, a data interface for communicating data with the network access point, and a processing device coupled to the wireless transceiver and the data interface. By using such a floor terminal, a building can be equipped with additional functionality with relatively little installation effort during a redevelopment process.
E-CALL REGISTRATION FOR ELEVATOR
An elevator system is provided. Aspects includes at least one elevator car, a plurality of sensors, a controller coupled to a memory, the controller configured to receive a call request for an elevator car from a user device. An identifier is transmitted to the user device and to the plurality of sensors. A location of the user device is determined based at least in part on at least one sensor in the plurality of sensors detecting the identifier on the user device. And the at least one elevator car is operated based on the location of the user device.
User-controlled elevator allocation for independent service
A system for allocating elevator use based on an individual request includes a request module that receives a reservation request of an elevator car from a user, an allocation module that identifies a reserved elevator car based on the reservation request; and a mechanical control module that moves the reserved elevator car in response to commands provided by the user and the reservation request.

Elevator system and method of cancelling passenger requested floor destination
An elevator system includes an elevator car, a call panel, a controller, and a floor cancellation feature. The elevator car is adapted to travel in a hoistway defined by a building and between floors of the building. The call panel is located for passenger interaction, includes a plurality of floor selections, and communicates with the controller. The floor cancellation feature is associated with at least one of the call panel and the controller. The controller is configured to operate between a floor cancellation permit state and a floor cancellation restricted state, thereby respectively enabling and disabling the floor cancellation feature, and track at least one event associated with the floor cancellation restricted state.
Destination dispatch passenger detection
An elevator car destination dispatching system and methodology are disclosed. The system includes a user interface that is configured to permit a user of a plurality of users to enter a desired destination in a building. The system further includes a presence detector disposed in the vicinity of the user interface. The presence detector is configured to detect the presence of the user of the plurality of users at the user interface. The presence detector is also operably coupled to a controller. The controller is configured to dispatch an elevator car based on the desired destination entered by the user of the plurality of users and the presence of the user of the plurality of users in the vicinity of the user interface.
Elevator signalization apparatus
According to an aspect, there is provided an elevator signalization apparatus. The elevator signalization apparatus comprises first receiving means for receiving floor information representing floor occupancy information associated with a building; output means for indicating floor occupancy to a user; second receiving means for receiving user associated information; and transmitting means for transmitting a control signal to an elevator controller based on the received user associated information.
ELEVATOR SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CANCELLING PASSENGER REQUESTED FLOOR DESTINATION
