LIFTING DEVICE WITH SHACKLE DROP BRAKE
The invention refers to a lifting device (1) with a base part (2) for attachment to an object (4) such as a loading platform or a load. A connecting part (16) of the lifting device (1) serves to attach a sling, lifting, lashing or tensioning means and is pivotable about a swivel axis (20) relative to the base part (2). The base part (2) also has a bearing surface (6) which defines an assembly plane (8). In order to be able to handle the lifting device (1) more easily and safely, a shackle drop brake (24) according to the invention is provided which acts between the base part (2) and the connecting part (16). The shackle drop brake (24) has at least one holding point (26) at which the connecting part (16) is held in a pivoted position outside the vertical (28) to the assembly plane (8) at a distance from the assembly plane (8). The shackle drop brake (24) prevents the connecting part (16) from resting on the object (4). This makes the connecting part (16) easier for a user to grip and lift. In addition, injuries and damage are avoided because, for example, parts can no longer be trapped between the object (4) and the connecting part (16).
Deployable rear view mirror mobile device holder
A mobile device holder for a rear-view mirror of a vehicle may include a mirror housing and a mobile device bracket arranged at least partially therein in a stored position, and a deployment mechanism connected to the bracket and including a torsion spring configured to rotatedly hinge the bracket from the stored position to a deployed position extending out of the housing in response to actuation of the torsion spring.

METHOD FOR MOVING A STACK OF FLAT LAMINAR PRODUCTS, AND MOVING DEVICE FOR MOVING A STACK A FLAT LAMINAR PRODUCTS
In order to move a stack of flat laminar products, a carrying device is used which has a support part, which is positioned above the stack, and a strap, which is secured to the support part. The strap is guided around the stack on the lower face and is secured to the support part, whereupon the support part is pressed against the stack by tensioning the strap and the stack, surrounded by the strap on the lower face, is then lifted. The stack is subsequently placed on a target storage area, and the strap is then released from the stack. The strap is gripped by a gripping device and is drawn from a strap storage spool, mounted on the support part, and the strap is placed around the stack. The strap is wound onto the strap storage spool in order to tension the strap.

Adjustable sling bars for subject lifting systems and methods for operating the same
A sling bar assembly allows variable positioning of a sling on the sling bar assembly. Some sling bar assemblies include opposing sling bar members that are movable with respect to one another in a lateral direction. Some opposing sling bar members are repositionable between a locked position, in which movement of the sling members with respect to one another is restricted, and an unlocked position. Some sling bar assemblies include multiple sling hooks positioned on a sling bar member. Some sling bar assemblies include a biasing member that permits movement of a sling hook with respect to the sling bar assembly in the lateral direction.

Spool tipper systems and methods
A clamp assembly for a spool tipping system may comprise a base clamp portion and an adjustable clamp portion. The adjustable clamp portion may be adjustable relative to the base clamp portion based on a flange size of a respective spool. The adjustable clamp portion may be configured to translate through a portion of the base clamp portion and be locked to base clamp portion. The spool tipping system may comprise a lifting system configured to couple to the clamp assembly, lift the clamp assembly and the spool, and transition the spool from a side position to an upright position.
Assembly for lifting or supporting a load, and members and connectors for use in same
Provided herein is an assembly for carrying or supporting a load. The assembly comprises a plurality of members connectable in an assembled arrangement for carrying or supporting the load. Each member comprises a first end and a second end, at least one of the first end and the second end has a pair of connecting members comprising two lugs that each has defined therein two holes. The lugs are configured for alignment with a corresponding pair of lugs formed on another member in the assembly. Fasteners extend through the holes formed in the lugs when the holes are aligned. Further provided are members for use in the assembly and connector elements for attaching two or more members in the assembly.
Strap hoisting device
A hoist or hoisting device is configure to place a pallet on a roof without the need of a person on the roof. The hoist includes a deflector that moves between a first position and a second position and releases a strap from an open hook as the deflector moves from the first position. A release arm on the deflector contacts a portion of the strap to push the strap off the open hook after the pallet has contacted the roof. The hoist may then be raised and the strap be unthreaded and pulled upward through the pallet to leave the pallet installed on the roof.
