Wireless controllable carousel independently releasable grapling hooks
The present invention is a controllable hook assembly having an actuator operably connected to an arm motor assembly and a drive assembly configured to move independently a plurality of hook arms between an open and closed position capture and release a load. A controller is configured to operate each drive assembly to move the hook arms cooperating with screw threads in said actuator to provide rotation about a pivot point to drive each of the hook arms between an open and a closed position so as to allow for independent actuation of each of the hook arms.

Super large tonnage detachable hook
The present invention discloses a super large tonnage detachable hook. The hook comprises: a hook rod, a hook shaft, a hook body, a spherical roller bearing, and a thrust spherical roller bearing. The hook also contains a connection component which connects the hook rod to the hook body. The split-type self-locking sleeve is integrally connected to the hook rod via the hook hoop holder. Meshing of the sleeve with the toothed sleeve of the hook rod is adopted to transmit the load, and the bearing capacity is greatly improved compared with the traditional screw connection. The hook of the present invention can withstand the downward and upward bi-directional load, which solves the problem that the traditional hook is prone to damage once it hits the ground. The hook is forged with 30CrNiMo8, which can lift an extremely large weight of more than 5,000 tons.

Apparatus for controlling orientation of suspended loads
A rotator apparatus (10, 100, 200) for rotationally positioning a suspended load (16). A flywheel (44, 144) can be directly or indirectly driven by a motor (40, 140). Vanes (50, 150) on a fan (45) or on the flywheel can be used to provide additional rotational control through air resistance/braking. A controller (20, 24, 120, 124) can provide wired or wireless control. Thrusters (52) can provide additional rotational impetus or resistance. One or more load cells (54, 232, 234) can provide load sensing. Cameras (28) can be used to visualise the load and can record load moving operations and details of the load for logistics tracking and safety. The attachment part (202) and/or the load support (216) can be connected to the body via a respective pivot (204, 214). The apparatus can include replaceable or rechargeable batteries (206, 210), such as within in a removable container (230), preferably supported by at least one drawer (231), which drawer may be mounted on telescopic drawer slides (212). The replaceable or rechargeable batteries (206, 210) can be provided as a cassette arrangement whereby the batteries plug in and are removable as a unit. At least one hook (157) for suspending a load from the rotator can include a groove or recess (158) to restrict or prevent load rotation.
Swivel Hook with Clockwise and Anticlockwise Magnetic Rotation Damping
A swivel device with rotation damping, adapted to rotationally couple a hoist cable to a hoist hook, the device including: a first disc fixedly mounted on a central axle and adapted to be operationally coupled to a distal end of the cable by a non-rotating coupling; a second disc rotationally mounted on said central axle and spaced apart from said first disc, said second disc adapted to be operationally coupled to the hoist hook by a non-rotating coupling; a first set of magnets mounted on said first disc; and a second set of magnets mounted on said second disc, magnetic fields of said first set of magnets interacting with magnetic fields of said second set of magnets to damp rotation of said second disc about said central axle.
