Lifting device for blocks with non-parallel walls
10919717 · 2021-02-16 ·

A device and method for lifting a hollow bodied block includes an elongated body having a top end and a bottom end with a handle attached to the top end. A first arm rigidly extends from the elongated body in a substantially perpendicular direction and is configured to engage an inner surface of the block. A second arm is pivotally attached to the bottom end of the elongated body in a substantially opposite direction to that of the first arm. Upon exerting a lifting force on the handle of the lifter, the second arm rotates relative to the elongated body, forming a desired angle with the first arm and creating an outward force sufficient to grip and lift the block.

Tire gripping device and tire inspection method

A tire gripping device includes a chuck mechanism having a pair of chuck portions adjacent in a width direction of a tire and contact members disposed on each of the chuck portions in a circumferential manner. The contact members are able to be brought into contact with an open end portion of a bead portion of the tire. The contact members are able to enter a state of allowing relative movement with a contact surface of an open end portion in a first contact stage and enter a state of non-relative movement with the contact surface in a second contact stage subsequent to the first contact stage. The tire gripping device further includes a first driving mechanism for moving the contact members in a radial direction of the tire and a second driving mechanism for moving the pair of chuck portions in the width direction of the tire.

A nut lifting tool of an inner wear part of a cone crusher. The lifting tool has a frame to be placed around a nut to be lifted. The frame has nut lifting lugs for supporting occurring from at least three sides of the center of gravity of the nut and frame suspension brackets for suspending the frame from the nut before lifting the nut. The frame also has an open side for receiving a nut, lateral limiters, which, together with the lifting lugs and the suspension brackets, form a nut receiving space such that the frame can be slid from the open side to surround the nut, and lifting connection pieces for connecting a crane to the frame.

Automatic locking mechanism and clamping devices with automatic locking mechanism

An automatic locking mechanism can include one or more annular elements having teeth facing each other or facing away from each other. The automatic locking mechanism can include a rod disposed between the annular elements. The rod can have one or more pins configured to interface with the teeth of the annular elements. The pins and the teeth are also configured to rotate the rod when the annular elements move relative to the rod. The rotation of the rod can toggle a hook end of the rod in a hook receptacle, which can change states of the locking mechanism.

A gripping device for being suspended from a load handling device for lifting and moving containers stacked in stacks in a grid storage structure including a plurality of tracks arranged in a grid pattern above the stacks of containers. The gripping device including a frame having a top side and a bottom side. The frame has a substantially downwardly extending peripheral wall defining at least one opening through the top side and bottom side of the frame. A gripping mechanism is mounted to the peripheral wall and is configured to releasably grip a container from below the frame.

Pipe Spinner and Lifter

In one aspect there is provided a pipe spinner and lifter for supporting and rotating a cylindrical member having a longitudinal axis. The pipe spinner and lifter comprises a pair of jaws that pivot about a pivot member, to allow the pipe spinner and lifter to actuate between an open configuration and a closed configuration. A plurality of rollers are mounted on the jaws, each rotatable about a rolling axis. When the pipe spinner and lifter is in the closed configuration, the cylindrical member can be rotatably captured by the pipe spinner and lifter, allowing the cylindrical member to rotate about its longitudinal axis. Preferably, the plurality of rollers are arranged in a substantially mirrored arrangement on the jaws. More preferably, the rolling axis of each of the rollers is substantially parallel to the cylindrical member's longitudinal axis.
