Method and Apparatus For Information exchange Over a Web Based Environment
The virtual presentation technology in this invention can significantly reduce data load on a network and thus reduce the network bandwidth requirement. This allows serving more requests for data transaction over a network with fixed network bandwidth. In addition, with traditional Internet file sharing products, e.g. the then-existed Yahoo Group online service, in order to stop sharing a file, the file must be physically deleted that prevents resharing the file unless expensively recreating them. In addition, traditional email and instant message does not allow a user to delete a previously posted or shared message from a UI of a recipient. Therefore, the user could be embarrassed if the posted message is not proper to the recipient. This invention has overcome the problems to allow user instantly deleting posted information of file or folder from recipient's UI without physically deleting the file, and deleting previously posted messages from recipient's UI.
Adjustable gravity-driven lifting device
A lifting device is disclosed in which tong arms are coupled to parallel laminated horizontal spine members that slide in opposition to each other via input of force from the tong arms. The horizontal spine members are coupled to load-engaging feet to transfer the force of the tong members to a given load. The horizontal spine members include teeth or the like along a horizontal axis for engagement and indexing of the load-engaging feet.
LIFTING EQUIPMENT FOR WAFFLE SLAB
The present application relates to lifting equipment for a waffle slab used in a construction. The lifting equipment comprises a main body bracket, a sliding member and a plurality of clamping mechanisms. The main body bracket has a through hole in a center thereof. The sliding member is slidably disposed in the through hole of the main body bracket and is slidable between a first position and a second position. Each of the plurality of clamping mechanisms comprises a clamping member and a connecting rod. The clamping member comprises a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is pivotally connected to an outer edge of the main body bracket, and the second end is configured to extend into a hole of the waffle slab for clamping the waffle slab. A proximate end of the connecting rod is pivotally connected to a lower end of the sliding member, and a distal end of the connecting rod is pivotally connected to the clamping member between the first end and the second end.
Clamping apparatus
A lifting and support device comprises a first yoke having a first support arm that defining a first wedge slot above the first support arm and a second yoke pivotally coupled to the first yoke having a second support arm inwardly extending toward and laterally spaced from the first support arm and defining a second wedge slot above the second support arm. The first and second wedge slots are substantially aligned when the first and second yokes are in a closed position. A wedge is configured for insertion within the first and second wedge slots when the first and second wedge slots are substantially aligned to hold a structure between the wedge and the first and second support arms of the first and second yokes in order to support a structure relative to the lifting and support device.
Method and apparatus for information exchange over a web based environment
Fast, volume, and secure information exchange is important in enhancing the efficiency of a communication network at Internet era. Video sharing in online meeting is an important part of information exchanging between people in business and in daily personal life. Video sharing between two or more user devices through a server on the Internet usually will consume tremendous network bandwidth and computing power. Therefore, there is needs to enhance the efficiency for the video sharing. With the supporting of posting and un-posting operations and the dynamic workspace technology introduced in this invention, a server here can centrally coordinate the dynamic secure video sharing between two or more devices while avoiding itself being a bottleneck for the video sharing. In addition, there is need for enhancing security for the online meeting. The method of effectively tracking activities for meeting participants during the online meeting disclosed in this invention can enhance the security for the online meeting.
Self-locking figure eight hook
A self-locking hook includes an S shaped member having a first surface and a second surface, a first portion for receiving a support member and a second portion for supporting an object; a pivot pin extending through an opening in the S shaped member and extending from the first surface and the second surface; a first locking member held by the pivot pin to pivot against the first surface to defines an opening so that the first portion can engage the support member, to a position where the first locking member and the first portion form a closed loop to surround the support member; and a second locking member held by the pivot pin to pivot against the second surface to define an opening so that the second portion can receive an object to be supported, to a second position where the second locking member and the second portion form a closed loop.
System and Method for Hanging Fence Gates
A system and method for single-handedly hanging a gate on a gate post. The system comprises a pair of A-frames, each comprising a pair of legs hingedly attached at an apex. Each of the legs has a stabilizing foot on its free end. A flexible and length-adjustable hanger is suspended from the apex between the legs. The gate is positioned upright adjacent the gate post, and then the A-frames are positioned over the gate so that they straddle the gate and are spaced apart. Next, the hangers are attached to the gate to elevate the gate at the correct height. The gate can be leveled by adjusting the distance between the feet of each of the A-frames. Once leveled, the gate hardware can be connected to the post hardware. Then, the A-frames are removed. All this can be done easily and safely by a single person.
Method and apparatus for managing an online meeting
Group online communication and collaboration has become part of people's daily life. Therefore, it is critical to provide a meeting initiator to efficiently present his/her information, and control his/her presented information. It is also critical for the speed and efficiently to process the meeting initiator's requests for his/her presented information to be quickly reaching to other meeting participants during a meeting. This invention facilitates a unique user interface (UI) for the meeting initiator to efficiently present information and to control presented information through a unique withdrawing (un-post) operation. Specially, this invention deploys dynamic workspaces technology together with post and un-post (withdraw) operations that greatly improves the speed and efficiency for processing the meeting initiator's requests and for monetizing the meeting activities.

Tire Gripping Device and Tire Inspection Method
A tire gripping device includes a chuck mechanism having a pair of chuck portions adjacent in a width direction of a tire and contact members disposed on each of the chuck portions in a circumferential manner. The contact members are able to be brought into contact with an open end portion of a bead portion of the tire. The contact members are able to enter a state of allowing relative movement with a contact surface of an open end portion in a first contact stage and enter a state of non-relative movement with the contact surface in a second contact stage subsequent to the first contact stage. The tire gripping device further includes a first driving mechanism for moving the contact members in a radial direction of the tire and a second driving mechanism for moving the pair of chuck portions in the width direction of the tire.
