METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR ATTRACTING RATS
An acoustic signal for attracting rats comprising a playback recording or synthetic generation of vocalizations of rats or mice is provided. The vocalizations may be of rat pups, and may be characterized by sonic frequency components in the range of 1.8-7.5 kHz and/or ultrasonic frequency components in the ranges of 21-24 kHz, 40-50 kHz and/or 60-96 kHz. The vocalizations may be of adult male rats, including courting adult male rats, characterized by sonic frequency components in the range of 15-20 kHz and/or ultrasonic frequency components in the range of 20-100 kHz. The vocalizations may be of adult female mice, including nursing adult female mice, characterized by sonic frequency components in the range of 8-12 kHz and/or ultrasonic frequency components in the range of 25-100 kHz.
USE OF POLYMERS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A RODENTICIDAL PRODUCT, RODENTICIDAL PRODUCT AND PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF
The invention consists of the use of hydrophilic polymers or copolymers of the polyacrylic acid or sodium polyacrylate family, which are crosslinked, in proportions of between 50 and 10 000 parts per million, for the production of a rodenticidal product. The rodenticidal product is composed of polymers or copolymers as mentioned above and of an appetizing coating according to respective proportions of from 1% to 50% by weight for the polymer and from 99% to 50% by weight for the appetizing composition. The process comprises the steps consisting in mixing the abovementioned polymers or copolymers with an appetizing product so as to form a paste, then in using an extruder to form the product.

COMPOSITION FOR DELIVERY OF ACTIVE AGENTS TO AN ANIMAL
The present invention provides compositions for delivering an active agent to an animal, comprising an active agent, a first coating, a second coating and a third coating. The active agent is coated with the first coating, the first coating is coated with the second coating, and the second coating is coated with the third coating. The active agent is in contact with the first coating, not the second or third coating. The first coating separates the active agent from the second coating while the second coating separates the first and third coatings. The first, second and third coatings are different from each other. Also provided are methods for making and using the compositions.
Composition comprising bromadiolone, rodenticide bait, and method for controlling target rodent pests
A rodenticidal bait composition includes bromadiolone mainly in the form of the homostereoisomer of formula 3-[3-(4-bromo-[1,1-biphenyl]-4-yl)-3-hydroxy-1-phenylpropyl]-4-hydroxy-2H-1-benzopyran-2-one, where carbons 1 and 3 of the 3-hydroxy-1-phenylpropyl group have the same absolute configuration. A method for controlling rodent pests using the rodenticidal bait is also described.

Compositions and methods for attracting and stimulating feeding by mice and rats
This invention describes novel food bait compositions that can be used alone or in combination with blends of attractive compounds to induce attraction and feeding by mice and rats. Said compositions and blends can be used to induce mice and rats to be captured in traps or to approach and remain in a location where they will be exposed to a rodenticide.
Rodenticide bait composition
The present invention relates to a rodenticide bait composition comprising a calcium salt and a dehydrant; wherein the calcium salt is selected from the group consisting of calcium carbonate, calcium citrate, calcium acetate, calcium benzoate, calcium octanoate, calcium stearate, calcium silicate, calcium oxide silicate, calcium sulfate, calcium chloride, calcium bromide, calcium iodide, calcium lactate, calcium gluconate, calcium oxalate, calcium phosphate and combinations of two or more thereof; wherein the calcium salt is present in an amount of less than 20 wt. % based on the total weight of the composition; wherein the dehydrant comprises one or more sources of cellulose and one or more sources of phospholipids.
