A master hoisting platform, comprising: an outer frame removably installable inside a floor of a multi-floor building under construction; and an inner frame slidable in the outer frame between a retracted position inside the floor and an extended position outside the floor; wherein the inner frame comprises a framework structure to mount a hoist comprising a winch positioned rearwardly above the inner frame, and a sheave positioned forwardly above the inner frame.

An underwater operation platform, including: a main body; two ducted propellers disposed at the tail end of the main body; a living building; pile legs; a tower crane; a submergence module; lifting devices; and a gantry crane. The main body includes a deck and a moonpool. The submergence module includes a support plate, a plurality of truss members, and a base plate. The living building disposed on the front end of the deck. The pile legs are disposed at the four corners of the main body, respectively. The deck includes two parallel pathways which are located at two sides of the moonpool, respectively, for supporting the gantry crane. The lifting devices are disposed on the deck and are close to four corners of the moonpool. The support plate and the base plate are integrated with the plurality of truss members.

A hoist apparatus for lifting a load onto a balcony includes a base and a boom arm which is extendable away from the base. A pulley is coupled to the boom arm adjacent to a distal end of the boom arm relative to the base. A winch is provided for hoisting a load via a cord mounted on the pulley. The apparatus is configured so that, after lifting the load, the winch can wind the cord to retract the boom arm, moving the load toward a destination balcony. The base is mountable to a second balcony overhanging the destination balcony.

Hoist assembly and method of lifting

A removable hoist assembly for lifting a load up and into a confined space in the form of a kit has a support structure releasably coupled to overhead structural beams in the confined space, a motor releasably coupled to the support structure above the support structure between the overhead structural beams, a hoist arm releasably coupled to the support structure to be rotatable and extendable with respect to the support structure, and a cable supported by the hoist arm. The cable has a free end positioned proximate a distal end of the hoist arm and configured to couple to the load and a terminal end coupled to the motor such that the cable extends and retracts with respect to the motor. The hoist arm support structure spreads the weight of the motor, hoist arm and the load across a plurality of the overhead structural beams.

In one embodiment, the method includes, but is not limited to, positioning a first box tube substantially parallel to a second box tube; attaching a plate to the first box tube and the second box tube, the plate extending between the first box tube and the second box tube; coupling a hydraulic cylinder to the plate; slidably inserting a first extension member at least partially into the first box tube; slidably inserting a second extension member at least partially into the second box tube, the first and second extension members having a beam extending therebetween; coupling the hydraulic cylinder to the beam; positioning a platform having one or more wheels on the plate and over the hydraulic cylinder such that the platform is rollable relative to the plate; and attaching the platform to the beam such that the platform is operable to retractably extend beyond an edge of a floor of a building in conjunction with the first and second extension members in response to actuation of the at least one hydraulic cylinder.
