COMPOSITE MATERIAL INCLUDING A THERMOPLASTIC POLYMER, A PEST FOOD MATERIAL, AND A PESTICIDE
Composite materials that are palatable to a wood-destroying pest species and also pesticidal to the pest species can be used in pest control devices and can be used as wood substitutes for structural components, which are resistant to destruction by wood-destroying pests. The composite materials include a thermoplastic polymer, a food material for the pest and a pesticide. The composite material is formed by mixing a thermoplastic polymer, wood fragments or other cellulosic materials and a quantity of pesticide, and thereafter creating a molten material within a mixer, compounder, extruder or the like. The molten material is extruded or molded to form the desired shape.
Composition and Methods for Managing and Controlling Lepidopteran Insects
Compositions and methods of using the compositions for controlling a noctuid population, wherein the compositions contain at least one noctuid attractant. The compositions may further include a feeding stimulant and/or a pesticide.
ADHESIVE, EXTRUDABLE ABOVE-GROUND TERMITE BAIT AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A composition, manufacturing methods, and method of use for controlling wood-destroying pests are disclosed. The composition includes an active ingredient that is a chitin synthesis inhibitor such as noviflumuron, a binder, a filler that includes cellulosic food material palatable to termites, and a solvent. The composition is a viscous, adhesive bait. A method for manufacturing the adhesive bait includes mixing water and binder in heated vessel, dry blending active ingredient and filler, mixing the blended ingredients in the vessel at high temperature, and reducing temperature while mixing. The method for use includes identifying an active above-ground termite infestation, applying adhesive bait to the infestation site, and covering the bait. Applying the adhesive bait may include extruding the bait from an applicator tool such as a caulk gun. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Insecticide dispensing device and method
Insecticide dispensing devices and methods of the present technology provide for the prolonged release of insecticide for the eradication of insect populations. Insecticide dispensing devices include an attractive toxic sugar bait, and have a housing configured with at least one aperture to allow a gaseous compound to exit the internal cavity and sized to allow entry of a target insect into the internal cavity. Methods of insecticide dispensing include activating the attractive toxic sugar bait in the device, and placing the activated device in an area where insects are present.
POLYALCOHOL, CARBOHYDRATE, NUCLEOBASE AND NUCLEOTIDE COMPOSITIONS AND USES THEREOF
Disclosed are compositions and methods of pest control. The composition contains one or more active agents such as a polyalcohol, carbohydrate, nucleobase or nucleotide compound or derivative and one or more inactive ingredients which function as attractants or nutrients. The combination of the active agent(s) and the inactive ingredients achieves synergistic effect in pest control.

PEST CONTROL AND DETECTION SYSTEM WITH CONDUCTIVE BAIT MATRIX
A pest control and/or detection system generally includes an electrically conductive bait matrix including at least one carrier material that is at least one of palatable, a phagostimulant and/or consumable and/or displaceable by pests, and a plurality of electrically conductive particles. The electrically conductive particles are substantially randomly interspersed throughout the at least one carrier material. The at least one carrier material includes a thermoplastic material and/or a resin.
INOCULANTS INCLUDING PLANT GROWTH PRODUCING RHIZOBACTERIA (PGPR) AND INSECTIDES FOR PROMOTING PLANT GROWTH AND HEALTH
Disclosed are compositions that include a plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) and an insecticide. The disclosed compositions may be formulated as incoculants for promoting growth and/or health in plants. The disclosed compositions may be administered to a plant in order to increase tolerance to stress caused by root-feeding pests and/or drought and may include additional components such as fertilizers.
Mosquito control product
A mosquito control product includes a two part composition including separated wet and dry ingredients. The wet and dry ingredients include active and inert ingredients. The active ingredients include thyme, rosemary, cinnamon, and citronella oil and the inert ingredients include water, sugar, yeast, wheat flour, sodium bicarbonate, and licorice extract. When the wet and dry ingredients are combined they form a carrier agent contacting a mosquito with the active ingredients wherein the mosquito is discouraged from seeking a blood meal.
