Portable winch
09731944 · 2017-08-15 · ·

A portable winch and method of use is shown. One advantage of winches shown includes an ability to lower a boom or boom sections into limited access exit pit for winching operations such as pipe bursting. Sectional boom designs shown provide the ability to easily raise and lower a boom large distances without the need for a single long boom. Selected winch designs shown include flexible inserts between the boom and the winch frame that help resist damage from unforeseen shifting of the device during operation. Designs and methods shown also include multiple pulleys on a boom end unit. Fasteners are shown that reduce build up of debris.

Vehicle crane having a telescoping jib and vehicle crane system and method for mounting a bracing apparatus on the telescoping jib of a vehicle crane
11427446 · 2022-08-30 · ·

A vehicle crane having a telescoping jib, comprising a basic box with linearly displaceable inner boxes and a lifting cable with a load picking-up device. A fastening region is arranged on the basic box or on a head end of one of the inner boxes, and a bracing apparatus is securable to the fastening region by a connecting end. To simplify rigging/de-rigging of the vehicle crane in relation to the bracing apparatus, the fastening region is formed for mounting the bracing apparatus on the basic box or on one of the inner boxes such that a bracing apparatus that is freely suspended on the lifting cable is coupled to the fastening region with the connecting end being brought close to the fastening region by movements of the vehicle crane, retraction and extension of the inner boxes, raising and lowering of the load picking-up device, and/or luffing of the telescoping jib.

A container trailer crane has an apparatus that includes a base, a crane arm, an outrigger, and a mechanical ram that is used in both positioning the outrigger and the crane arm.

TELESCOPIC ARM FOR SELF-PROPELLED OPERATING MACHINES
20170217742 · 2017-08-03 ·

The telescopic lift arm (1) for self-propelled operating machines (10), such a lifters, telehandlers and the like, comprises three tubular elements (21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26), having a decreasing section and telescopically connected to one another to define a support structure which is able to move between a retracted configuration in which the tubular elements (21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26) are inserted in one another, and an elongate configuration, in which two tubular elements are extracted.

The arm (1) comprises a hydraulic actuator (4), associated to the support structure (21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26) and provided with three hydraulic elements (41, 42, 43) telescopically connected to one another, each of which is connected to a respective tubular element of the support structure.

WORK MACHINE

The work machine includes: a telescoping actuator that moves a first boom in the telescoping direction with respect to a second boom; an electrical drive source that is disposed in a movable portion of the telescoping actuator; a first connection mechanism that switches a connection state between the telescoping actuator and the first boom on the basis of the power of the electrical drive source; a second connection mechanism that switches a connection state between the first boom and the second boom on the basis of the power of the electrical drive source; and a torque limiter that is disposed between the electrical drive source and the first connection mechanism or the second connection mechanism, the torque limiter maintaining, at a predetermined value or less, a load acting on a mechanical element constituting a power transmission path from the electrical drive source.

Loading crane jib
09718655 · 2017-08-01 · ·

A hydraulically actuatable jib for a loading crane includes at least two jib extensions, the first jib extension being designed as an outer jib extension and the second jib extension being designed as an inner jib extension. At least two feed cylinders extend and react the at least two jib extensions. A hydraulic circuit for a working fluid includes a retraction line for retracting the feed cylinders in a pressurized manner, and the retraction line opens into the feed cylinder of the outer jib extension. A tank is provided for releasing the working fluid, and a control valve can be switched into an open position when the outer jib extension reaches a defined retraction position, particularly when the outer jib extension is substantially fully retracted. The valve thereby supplies the feed cylinder of the inner jib extension with pressurized working fluid.

Telescopic boom
09718654 · 2017-08-01 · ·

A telescopic boom includes a first frame having a curved portion whose section is substantially U-shaped, and a second frame connected to the first frame so that a closed section is formed. In the telescopic boom, the U-shaped curved portion of the first frame includes a plurality of protrusion portions formed at intervals in a circumferential direction of the telescopic boom, each protrusion portion extending in a longitudinal direction of the telescopic boom and being formed to have an arc-shaped section and protrude to the outside of the first frame.

Telescopic arm for operating machines

The telescopic arm for operating machines includes an outer arm, four coaxial slip-off elements, first, second, third, fourth and an operative head associated to the latter. The telescopic arm includes: a drive system, supported partially outside of the telescopic arm, for moving synchronously said slip-off members in their extending and returning travels; a hydraulic circuit, housed inside said telescopic arm, comprising a first and a second group of hydraulic conduits, which include, respectively, first and second flexible pipes, kept stretched during the returning step of said slip-off members by the corresponding idler pulleys, supported by the latter.

Pin puller for crane connections

A pin puller is mounted between first and second connectors, preferably connectors on a lift crane, each of the connectors having a hole there though. The pin puller includes: a) first and second support frame members; b) a first pin with a first end located in the hole of the first connector and a second end inside the first support frame member; c) a second pin with a first end located in the hole of the second connector and a second end inside the second support frame member; d) at least one linear actuator connected to the first and second pins; and e) a length adjustment device between the first and second support frame members, with its length adjusted so as to force the first support frame member into contact with the first connector and the second support frame member into contact with the second connector.
