Lifting machine with counterweight sensing system and related methods
A lifting machine with a counterweight includes a sensing system for assisting in ensuring proper operating conditions are reliably achieved. The machine includes a lifter for moving the counterweight from a lowered position to a raised position. A first sensor is associated with the lifter for sensing a parameter corresponding to an amount of the counterweight (such as a pressure value associated with the rod end of a lifting cylinder), and a second sensor is provided for sensing a condition of the lifter (such as the position or extended length of the lifting cylinder). The amount of counterweight present may be determined by the output of the first sensor when the lifter is in a pre-determined (e.g., midpoint) position. The operator may be polled to verify the amount of counterweight present, thus providing a check against unintended operating conditions and ensure that reliable operation of the lifting machine is achieved.
ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY FOR USE WITH A WORK MACHINE
An attachment assembly for use with a work machine includes an attachment adapter coupled to the work machine and fixed relative thereto and an attachment frame including a member defining an attachment point configured to engage, into an engaged mode, with the attachment adapter when a front suspension system of the work machine is raised to a raised position, and configured to disengage, into a disengaged mode, from the attachment adapter when the front suspension system is lowered to a lowered position, the attachment adapter configured to travel with the work machine when in the engaged mode and the disengaged mode, and the attachment frame configured to travel with the work machine when in only the engaged mode.

COUNTERWEIGHT MOUNTING DEVICE AND WORKING MACHINE HAVING THE SAME
A counterweight mounting device, which is installed on a frame supporting a counterweight according to an aspect of the present invention, includes a first link of which a lower end is coupled to the frame so that the first link is rotatable about a first hinge shaft, a second link including a slot guide into which a second hinge shaft coupled to an upper end of the first link is inserted and in which the second hinge shaft slides, a hydraulic cylinder of which a lower end is coupled to the frame so that the hydraulic cylinder is rotatable about a cylinder rotation shaft and an upper end is coupled to the second hinge shaft and rotates the first link, and a connection member installed on an upper end of the second link and connected to the counterweight.
Attachment assembly for use with a work machine
Attachment assembly for use with a work machine. The attachment assembly includes an attachment adapter and an attachment frame. The attachment adapter is coupled to the work machine and fixed relative thereto. The attachment frame includes a member that defines an attachment point. The attachment point engages, into an engaged mode, with the attachment adapter when a front suspension system of the work machine is raised to a raised position. The attachment point disengages, into a disengaged mode, from the attachment adapter when the front suspension system is lowered to a lowered position. The attachment adapter travels with the work machine when in the engaged mode and also in the disengaged mode. The attachment frame travels with the work machine only when in the engaged mode.

TOWER CRANE
The invention relates to a tower crane, preferably a rotary tower crane, particularly preferably a top-slewing crane, comprising a jib and a counter-jib. The jib and/or counter-jib is hinged to the tower top and/or rotating platform by means of at least one connection point. A first connection part of the at least one connection point has a concave stop surface, and a second connection part of the connection point comprises a convex counter-stop surface, wherein the counter-stop surface of the second connection part acts on the stop surface of the first connection part by means of a pressure force in order to produce a force-fitting connection between the connection parts.
