Drive Device for the Spool of a Winch
20190161327 · 2019-05-30 ·

The invention relates to a drive device (1) for the spool (6) of a winch. The drive device (1) comprises a drive motor (2) having a drive shaft (5), a transmission (3) and an output shaft (4) that drives a spool (6). The transmission has a first drive connection (10) between the drive shaft (5) of the drive motor (2) and the output shaft (4) to the spool (6). The first drive connection (10) drives the output shaft (4) over a first rotational speed range (DB1) in a first gear. According to the invention, a second drive connection (30) is provided between the drive motor (2) and the output shaft (4), wherein the second drive connection (30) drives the output shaft (4) over a second rotational speed range (DB2) in a second gear. The second drive connection (30) is designed to be separate from the first drive connection (10) as a parallel drive path, and is driven by the drive motor (2) together with the first drive connection (10). If the output shaft (4) is driven by the second drive connection (30), the power flow of the first drive connection (10) from the drive shaft (5) to the output shaft (4) is interrupted.

A slide-out unit assembly that includes a vehicle body having an opening formed in an exterior wall and a reciprocable slide-out unit (e.g., room or compartment) disposed in the opening and slidable between a retracted position and an extended position. Sliding movement of the slide-out unit is controlled by a drive assembly that includes a sprocket that drives a drive chain assembly connected to the slide-out unit as described herein. Sliding movement of the slide-out unit may be either motor-driven or manually powered.

Forestry winch

A winch system 10 coupled to a processor energy source 12 having one or more processor driving rollers 14. The processor 12 provides energy to the winch system 10. Multiple driven winch drive rollers 32 are supported by the body 18. A horizontally-oriented winch drum 36 is attached to the body 18. A drum gear 38 in communication with the driven rollers 32 and the winch drum 38 transfers rotational energy about the vertical axis from the processor driving rollers 14 to rotational energy about the axis of rotation of the winch drum 38. Attached to the winch drum is a cable 40 having a proximal end 42 region and a distal end region that is detachably attachable to an object 46 to be retrieved by the winch system.

Hydraulic Truck Bed Reel Lift Apparatus

A vehicle-mounted reel lifting apparatus for rotating the reel to dispense or wind the reelable material. A driven wheel engages the rim of the reel at a plurality of reel lifting arm pivot positions, such as sliding alongside the lifting arm in an axis parallel with the lifting arm. The driven wheel is capable of engaging with the reel at any position of the lifting arm. A linear drive mechanism allows the driven wheel to travel up and down the lifting arm to accommodate various reel sizes. The lifting arm may incorporate an automatic locking slot having a spring-driven locking mechanism. The lifting arms may also be mounted with a mounting bracket having a pattern of slots to enable the lifting arms to be selectively mounted in a narrow configuration or a wide configuration.
