A control device of a hydraulic winch includes an engine, a hydraulic pump, a hydraulic motor driving a winch drum, a winch manipulating member, an engine control unit controlling a rotation speed of the engine, a winch load detector detecting a load applied to the winch drum, and a motor capacity control unit controlling a motor capacity of the hydraulic motor so as to decrease a motor capacity of the hydraulic motor in a fuel-saving operation mode to a motor capacity which is smaller than a motor capacity of the hydraulic motor in a normal operation mode. The engine control unit sets an upper limit value of the rotation speed of the engine in the fuel-saving operation mode to a value which is lower than a maximum rotation speed of the engine in the normal operation mode and corresponds to the load detected by the winch load detector.

Elevator with a brake device

An elevator with a brake device may be configured to provide a variable brake force, from a minimum brake force up to a maximum brake force (Vmax). The brake device may include a first energy store that provides the maximum brake force and a second energy store that provides an adjustable counterforce. The adjustable counterforce may be directed in an opposed manner with respect to the maximum brake force provided from the first energy store. Further, the variable brake force may amount to a difference between the maximum brake force and the adjustable counterforce. In some cases, the first energy store may comprise a compression spring for providing the maximum brake force.

Work machine

Provided is a work machine capable of effectively discharging air from a hydraulic circuit of a winch unit capable of applying braking to a winch drum by receiving a working oil. The work machine includes: a winch unit having a winch drum, a winch motor, a cylinder portion and a clutch portion; a hydraulic sources; a braking operating unit; a brake valve; a connecting portion; and a throttle portion. The throttle portion includes an opening having an opening diameter that is set so as to hold a pressure in a positive oil chamber for generating a brake force applied to the winch drum and to discharge a working oil from the positive oil chamber.
