METHOD TO DETECT HOMING LOADS IN RESCUE HOIST AND WINCH ASSEMBLIES

A fixture is described. The fixture is for detecting distances between a hook assembly and a bell mouth of a rescue hoist and magnetically coupling the hook assembly to the fixture. The fixture couples to the bell mouth such that the fixture is affixed to a main housing of the rescue hoist. A cable of the rescue hoist extends through the bell mouth and the fixture. The cable includes a distal end coupled to the hook assembly. The cable is retractable causing the hook assembly to abut the fixture. The fixture may detect the hook assembly abuts the fixture and engages one or more electromagnets. The electromagnets cause the hook assembly to magnetically couple to the fixture, preventing the hook assembly from swaying when there is slack in the cable.

HOMING LOAD DETECTING DEVICE FOR RESCUE HOIST AND WINCH ASSEMBLIES

A fixture is described. The fixture is for detecting forces between a hook assembly and a bell mouth of a rescue hoist. The fixture may then detect the force. The force may be used to provide an indication to a crew of an aircraft that the force is below a minimum homing load or above a maximum homing load.

HOIST SYSTEM WITH HOUSEHOLD OBJECT PAYLOAD MOTION CONTROL UTILIZING AMBIENT DEPTH DATA

A system has a hoist system to lift a payload to a position adjacent to a ceiling of a room. Image sensor systems collect visual data and payload depth data within the payload and ambient depth data within the room. A controller is connected to the hoist system and the image sensor systems. The controller is configured to control the motion of the hoist system. The motion of the hoist system is controlled in part by the ambient depth data from the room.

A winding machine wherein a motor control means is able to control driving of a drive motor in a balancer mode, and the balancer mode includes a first balancer mode in which driving of the drive motor is controlled based on a first torque command value with an assist torque that assists the operating force added thereto, and a second balancer mode in which driving of the drive motor is controlled based on a second torque command value that does not assist the operating force, and a lifting/lowering position range is set to a first position range where control is performed in the first balancer mode regardless of the direction of the operating force being in either the winding up or winding down direction, and a second position range where control is performed to select whether control is performed in the first balancer mode or in the second balancer mode.

Building element lift enhancer

A Building Element Lift Enhancer is described. The Building Element Lift Enhancer provides for the movement and precise placement of building elements such as blocks or sheet products by one worker. The Building Element Lift Enhancer senses the force applied by a user to the building element and converts that user applied force to mechanically assisted force from the Building Element Lift Enhancer, allowing the user to precisely move and handle large, heavy or bulky building elements by direct interaction with the building element.

A sleeve block includes a frame that is connectable to an object, such as a truss, that is to be moved relative to a stationary support. An axle defining a longitudinal axis and a motor are to the frame. The sleeve block includes a line that has a first end connected to the motor. The line extends downward from the motor around at least a portion of the axle and then extends outwardly of the frame so that at least a portion of the line is operatively connected to the stationary support. The portion of the line between the axle and the stationary support creates a line axis, and the motor is spaced apart from the line axis. Activation of the rotatable output of said motor causes the frame and the object to move relative to the stationary support by retracting or extending the line from the motor.
