Method and apparatus for transporting and steering a heavy load
A method and apparatus for transporting heavy machinery, equipment or other heavy loads from one location to another, whereby the apparatus may be constructed as a walking machine including a plurality of lifting assemblies operative to lift the load above the supporting surface and then move the load relative to the supporting surface by transporting the load via rollers or tracks in the walking machines. In one example, the lifting assemblies are provided with separate longitudinal and lateral drive mechanisms independently operative for translating the load in either or both longitudinal and lateral directions.

Lifting device
A lifting device includes a driving unit, a moving tube, and a rolling unit. The driving unit includes an activating shaft having one end connected to an external object, a sleeve being fixed around the activating shaft and having axially extending flat surfaces, an activating cylinder connected to an opposite end of the activating shaft for driving the activating shaft to move with respect to the sleeve, and a controlling member connected to the activating cylinder for controlling the activating cylinder. The moving tube is mounted around the sleeve and connected to the external object. The movement of the activating shaft synchronously makes the moving tube move upward or downward. The rolling unit includes a plurality of rollers that are rotatably attached to the moving tube and maintain contacting the flat surfaces of the sleeve. Thereby, the lifting device lifts and lowers the external object stably.

HYDRAULIC PUMPING CYLINDER AND METHOD OF PUMPING HYDRAULIC FLUID
A method of extending a jack including the steps of: first stage pumping by passing pressurized fluid at a first pressure and a first volume to a jack cylinder primarily by movement of a piston; and second stage pumping by passing pressurized fluid at a second pressure and a second volume to the jack cylinder primarily by movement of a rod connected to the piston.

Hydraulic jack assembly and pin puller assembly
A cylinder assembly having a housing, a pump supported within the housing, a motor supported within the housing and operable to power the pump, and a power source supported by the housing and operable to supply power to the motor. A cylinder has a first end, an opposite second end, and a sidewall extending therebetween. A piston is movably supported by the cylinder, the pump being operable to supply hydraulic fluid to the cylinder to move the piston relative to the cylinder at least from a retracted position to an advanced position. A frame is coupled to the sidewall of the cylinder and supporting the pump and the motor.
