MOLD FOR FORMING A HOLLOW BODY AND INFLATABLE BODY
20200031039 · 2020-01-30 · ·

A mould comprises a mould body (1) for forming therearound a body (60) with a body cavity which is accessible via an opening. The mould body is assembled from a set of mutually cohesive body parts (30,40). The body parts (30,40) are mutually releasable and removable from the body via the opening. An inflatable body (60) can be manufactured with the mould. The inflatable body (60) comprises a wall of elastomer material, which wall at least in an inflated state of the body bounds a body cavity accessible through a wall opening. The body is inflatable by filling the body cavity with a fluid.

A Device for Positioning an Object Relatively to a Support by Inflatable Air Cushion Members, a Method of Operating the Device, and a Method for Moving an Object
20200002141 · 2020-01-02 ·

The device comprises a plurality of inflatable air cushion members (6) of a flexible but non- stretchable air tight sheet material (1) in hose-connection (11) with an inflation tool (12). Each inflatable air cushion member (6) is formed as a bag unit comprising opposite layers of said sheet material (1, 1) provided face to face and joined along an edge area (4) to form a double layer edge. Surface modification of the cushion members, for example by a sleeve or pouch into which the cushion members are inserted, is used to adjust the properties of the device for an optimised lifting process.

A lifting system comprises a platform (10) with at least one inflatable body (21, 22) which is connected to a fluid conduit (23, 24) for the purpose of receiving an inflating fluid, particularly a gas under increased pressure such as compressed air. In a first aspect the at least one inflatable body (21, 22) is connected for rotation about a rotation axis (H) relative to the platform (10). The inflatable body (21, 22) bounds here a winding space (40) in which the fluid conduit, when not in use, is received in a state in which it is wound around the rotation axis. In a second aspect the lifting system comprises on or at the platform (10) a fluid system (51, 52) which is remotely controllable.

A pneumatic jacking assembly for lifting a vehicle includes an air bag that is selectively inflated. A first plate is coupled to the air bag. The first plate is positioned on a support surface such that the first plate is positioned beneath a vehicle. A second plate is coupled to the air bag and the second plate abuts the vehicle when the air bag is inflated. In this way the air bag lifts the vehicle for servicing the vehicle. A pump is coupled to the first plate and the pump is in fluid communication with an interior of the air bag. The pump inflates the air bag when the pump is turned on. The second plate is urged away from the first plate when the air bag is inflated to lift the vehicle.
