Internally Tensioned Inflatable Structure That Is Posable In Multiple Positions
An inflatable structure includes a top end cap, a bottom end cap, a bladder, a nozzle, a loop, and a first tether. The bladder is attached to the top and bottom end caps and is configured to hold pressurized fluid therebetween. The nozzle is configured to allow fluid to enter and exit the bladder. The loop is attached to one of the top and bottom end caps. A tether is disposed within the bladder, coupled to the other one of the top and bottom end caps, and extends through the at least one loop. The top end cap assumes a first position when the bladder is inflated. When the top end cap is adjusted from the first position to a second position, the first tether is configured to maintain the top end cap in the second position.
LIFT TABLE FOR REPAIRING AND SERVICING A WHEELED VEHICLE, IN PARTICULAR WITH TWO WHEELS
The invention relates to a lift table (1) for repairing and maintaining a vehicle, in particular a two-wheeled vehicle, said table (1) comprising a table top (2) surmounted by a wheel clamp (3) comprising two opposing jaws (4), between which one of the wheels of the vehicle is suitable for being clamped when the vehicle is in the state of being arranged on the table top (2), and a device (5) for driving upwards and downwards movement of said table top (2).
The table top (2) and at least the surface of the wheel clamp (3) are made out of electrically-insulating material.
Modular recovery system
A modular salvage system includes first and second inflatable lifting cushions, a connecting collar on an upper side and underside and between each successive lifting cushion for enclosing the inflatable lifting cushion. The connecting collar is provided on a peripheral side with attachment points pivotally connectable to first and second radial shackles. The first radial shackle is pivotally connectable to the connecting collar and the other connecting collar includes a coupling segment that is pivotally connectable to a second radial shackle of an uppermost connecting collar. Each coupling segment is connectable in an axial direction to a subsequent uppermost coupling segment by an axial shackle. The axial shackle includes first and second bending-resistant segments between which a flexible segment extends. The tensile strengths of the bending-resistant segments and the flexible segment are substantially equal. Additionally, a related lifting module, container, and method for assembling are provided.
METHOD AND TOOL CART FOR TRANSFERRING A TOOL COMPONENT
A tool cart having a frame, a lifting device for lifting the frame, a locking device to lock the tool cart horizontally relative to a work station or a packaging machine (collectively referred to below as the packaging machine), and a stop element that may engage with an underside of the packaging machine when lifted. The lifting device and locking device operate independently. A method for transferring a tool component including one or more of the steps of: aligning the tool cart relative to the packaging machine; locking the tool cart in position relative to the packaging machine; lifting a frame of the tool cart by way of a lifting device until the stop element engages an underside of the packaging machine; and transferring the tool component between the tool cart and the packaging machine may be included.
Portable lifting apparatus
A portable lifting apparatus is provided. The apparatus has a modular frame comprising a first frame member and a second frame member, which in combination support a load-bearing beam having a lifting device secured thereto above a lifting surface. The first frame member, the second frame member, and the lifting device are each removably secured to the beam such that the apparatus may be disassembled into constituent components for transport or storage. Each frame member may be configured to disassemble into constituent components comprising a base and two or more support rails. The apparatus may further comprise a counterbalance. The counterbalance may serve to balance load distribution when the apparatus in use and act as a storage receptacle for the first and second frame members, the beam, and the lifting device when the apparatus is disassembled.
Rod-lock enable air bag lifting system
An air bag based lifting apparatus can include a platform, a stabilizing mechanism for retaining the platform in a horizontal orientation, an air bag column connected with the platform and configured to retain a vertical rod passing through or adjacent the air bag column, and a rod lock connected with the platform and operable to secure the platform in a vertical position when locked. First and second valves can connect the air bag column and rod lock with a pressure source, and can be actuated in order to lift, lower, or support the platform. In the event of depressurization, the rod lock can lock to the vertical rod and support the platform.
