OPERATOR CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A MATERIALS HANDLING VEHICLE
An operator control system is provided for a materials handling vehicle, the materials handling vehicle including an operator station having a support structure. The operator control system includes an operator control assembly having a housing mounted to or integral with the support structure, and at least one control element for controlling a function of the vehicle. One or both of the housing and/or the control element is positionable in a plurality of positions.
ARMOURING SYSTEM FOR SELF-PROPELLED WORK MACHINES
The armouring system for a self-propelled work machine (1) comprises: a cab frame (10) for the machine (1); and a plurality of armouring elements (21, 22, 23, 24, 25), made of armoured material, adapted to be fixed removably to respective portions of the frame (10), in order to define an armoured cab (2).
Vertical viewing windows in a materials handling vehicle
A materials handling vehicle is provided having: a power unit comprising at least one wheel; a mast assembly coupled to the power unit comprising at least one mast weldment; and a platform assembly. The platform assembly comprising: a floorboard upon which an operator may stand; a support wall connected to the floorboard and positioned adjacent to the mast assembly, the floorboard and the support wall defining an operator compartment of the platform assembly; at least one operator control assembly positioned to allow for operation by an operator located within the operator compartment; and a non-horizontal viewing window provided in the support wall.
GRABBING ATTACHMENTS FOR HEAVY MACHINERY
In one embodiment, a tractor bucket attachment may include an attachment head and a loop of flexible cable. The attachment head may include a mounting bracket and first and second cable attachment mechanisms. The mounting bracket may be configured to secure the attachment head to a tractor bucket, the tractor bucket having a front edge. The loop of flexible cable may have a first end and a second end, the first end being attached to the first cable attachment mechanism and the second end being attached to the second cable attachment mechanism. The loop of flexible cable may be configured to ensnare a bale against the front edge of the tractor bucket.
PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR A WORK VEHICLE
A protection system for a work vehicle includes a rear portion configured to couple to a chassis of the work vehicle and a top portion configured to couple to a cab of the work vehicle. The top portion is also configured so that at least part of the top portion is positioned above the cab of the work vehicle relative to a ground surface. In addition, a first height of a maximum vertical extent of the top portion relative to the ground surface is substantially equal to a second height of a maximum vertical extent of the rear portion relative to the ground surface. Further, the rear portion and the top portion are separated from one another while the rear portion is coupled to the chassis and the top portion is coupled to the cab.
Forklift truck with forward-tilting cab and method for reducing container-loading height of forklift truck
A forklift truck with a forward-tilting cab and a method for reducing the container-loading height of the forklift truck, include a cab and a frame, the cab being connected to the frame so as to be able to tilt forward; and also including a locating mechanism, which is removably provided between the cab and frame when the cab is tilted forward to reduce the cab height, so as to locate the cab when the cab is tilted forward to a preset angle. When loading into a container, the cab of the forklift truck is tilted forward to a preset angle, so that the overall height of the forklift truck is reduced to a height suitable for loading in a container, and the locating mechanism is used to locate the cab, so that the cab is kept in a state in which it is tilted forward to a preset angle.
Lift device innovations
A lift device includes a lift apparatus, a base assembly, and a controller. The lift apparatus is configured to raise and lower a removable robotic implement assembly. The base assembly is configured to support the lift apparatus and a primary mover. The primary mover is configured to provide rotational motion to one or more wheels supported by the base to move the lift apparatus. The controller is in communication with the implement assembly and the lift apparatus. The controller is configured to adjust a position of the robotic implement assembly and the lift apparatus in response to receiving instructions to perform a task.
Industrial truck with an overhead guard
An industrial truck has a lift mast, which has a height-adjustable load support and an overhead guard that is disposed on a side of the lift mast facing away from the load support. The guard protects the operator against falling loads and objects. The lift mast on the side thereof facing away from the load support has an adapter for the overhead guard that has two adapter limbs disposed in parallel to each other and connected to the lift mast. The overhead guard has two projecting connection limbs each of which lies flat on one of the adapter limbs and is connected thereto.
