FORKLIFT FOR AIR TRANSPORT AND STOWAGE PROCEDURE
20190322503 · 2019-10-24 · ·

A forklift capable of being transported in an Airbus A400 or higher with the capacity to go up/down the aeroplane ramp without the need to use supports or props, both in the stowage position in the hold of the aeroplane and in the operations of climbing/descending by ancillary ramps preserving the structural integrity of the machine complying with the allowable limits of maximum weight per axle according to the distance between them. The forklift has a folding counterweight envisaged for the distribution of the weight on the rear axle and locking/unlocking device between the mast and chassis envisaged for the distribution of the weight on the front axle thereby reducing the weight per axle to below the established limits in the hold of the aeroplane.

Sectional hydraulic valve and a truck mounted forklift incorporating the valve

This invention relates to a sectional hydraulic valve and a truck mounted forklift incorporating the distributor. The sectional hydraulic valve comprises an inlet cover, a plurality of hydraulic sections and an end cap. The hydraulic sections each having a pump gallery, a tank gallery, an A port, a B port, a spool and a remote pilot gallery. The end cap comprises a pump port coupled to the pump gallery, a tank port coupled to the tank gallery and a connecting conduit between the pump port and the tank port. The end cap further comprises a remote pilot gallery port coupled to the remote pilot gallery, a fluid passageway between the remote pilot gallery port and the connecting conduit, and a valve assembly operable to selectively permit or restrict flow of hydraulic fluid between the connecting conduit in the end cap and the remote pilot gallery in the hydraulic section.

Container transport system and method

The container transport system and method provides for the transport of portable storage units. The system includes a powered hand truck, a specially configured vehicle, and a pair of dolly wheel sets for installation to one end of the portable storage unit. The method comprises removal of the hand truck from the vehicle, fitting the dolly wheels to one end of the portable storage unit as needed, lifting the opposite end of the portable storage unit using the powered hand truck, maneuvering the portable storage unit onto the vehicle using the powered hand truck while simultaneously lifting the end of the portable storage unit supported by the hand truck to keep the portable storage unit level, and parking the powered hand truck on the rearward portion of the vehicle. The hand truck may be remotely controlled, and the dolly sets are preferably height adjustable.

HYBRID VEHICLE SYSTEM

A vehicle includes an electric machine, a detachable lift, and a controller. The detachable lift has a lift battery that is electrically connected to the electric machine. The controller is programmed to, responsive to the vehicle traveling on a predetermined route, transfer power between the electric machine and lift battery such that a lift battery charge is within a desired range at an end of the route.

INDUSTRIAL VEHICLE LAYOVER SYSTEM

A layover bracket system is disclosed for supporting an industrial vehicle in a horizontal position. The layover bracket system includes a layover bracket removably coupled to a proximal end portion of the industrial vehicle, the layover bracket including at least one wheel for moving the layover bracket system with the industrial vehicle supported thereon while the industrial vehicle is in the horizontal position. The layover bracket supports the proximal end portion of the industrial vehicle when the industrial vehicle is in a horizontal position and allows the layover bracket system and industrial vehicle to roll on the at least one wheel of the layover bracket. The layover bracket system may also include a support bracket for supporting a distal end of the industrial vehicle while the vehicle is in the horizontal position.

Truck mounted forklift

This invention relates to a truck mounted forklift (TMFL), more specifically an electrically powered TMFL. The TMFL comprises a U-shaped chassis having a pair of side bars bridged by a rear cross bar, a pair of front wheels, and a rear wheel. The TMFL further comprises a lifting assembly, a driver's station, and a battery pack mounted on the chassis. Each of the front wheels is provided with a dedicated electric wheel motor assembly. The electric wheel motor assemblies each comprise an interior permanent magnet (IPM) motor having a drive shaft, and a planetary gear box coupled to the IPM motor. The planetary gear box is mounted axially in-line with and is driven by the drive shaft. The IPM motor is mounted substantially internal the side bar and the planetary gear box is mounted substantially internal the bounds of the wheel rim. In this way, a very compact configuration of drive assembly for the front wheels is provided.

A TRUCK MOUNTED FORKLIFT

This invention relates to a truck mounted forklift for mounting on the rear of a carrying vehicle, the truck mounted forklift having a lifting assembly mounted on the chassis, the lifting assembly comprising a linkage, the linkage comprising: an elongate first link connected at its proximal end to the chassis by a pivot joint; an elongate second link connected at its proximal end to the distal end of the first link by a pivot joint; a fork carriage connected to the distal end of the second link by a pivot joint; a plurality of link cylinders for actuating the links; and a tilt cylinder for actuating the fork carriage. By having such a truck mounted forklift, top far side loads will be accessible without the lifting assembly coming into contact with the roof of the carrying vehicle or with bottom near side loads. Additionally, the front wheels of the truck mounted forklift will not need to be positioned under the carrying vehicle to reach top far side loads. This will minimise the time needed to load and unload carrying vehicles.
