In this case, the outrigger (9) is associated with an apparatus for reducing vibrations (9d) which is designed to reduce vibrations acting in the direction of the longitudinal axis (L) of the outrigger (9).

SELECTIVLY ENABLING FASTER REVERSE DRIVING OF A MATERIALS-HANDLING VEHICLE
20230202818 · 2023-06-29 · ·

A method controls the reverse speed of a materials-handling vehicle having a forward-facing operator seat, a front end, a back end, a reverse-consent sensor, and a controller. The method detects, via the reverse-consent sensor, whether an operator of the vehicle is in a position to view a path of the vehicle when the vehicle is driven in a reverse direction; limits, via the controller, the reverse speed of the vehicle to a first maximum reverse speed when the operator is not detected to be in such a position when the vehicle is driven in a reverse direction; and limits, via the controller, the reverse speed of the vehicle to a second maximum reverse speed when the operator is detected to be in such a position. The first maximum reverse speed of the vehicle may be lower than the second maximum reverse speed of the vehicle.

INDUSTRIAL TRUCK COMPRISING A DEVICE FOR REDUCING VIBRATIONS

The invention relates to an industrial truck comprising

a chassis (6),
a mast (8) arranged on the chassis (6) in an upright position, a load-carrying apparatus (36), which has at least one load-receiving means (42) for receiving a load that is to be transported,
a support structure (9) that supports the load-carrying apparatus (36) on the mast (8) and can be moved, together with the load-carrying apparatus (36), upwards and downwards on the mast (8), and comprising
a device (54) for reducing vibrations,
wherein the device (54) for reducing vibrations has at least one additional mass body (60), which is supported by the mast (8) or the components connected thereto and is not constantly rigidly coupled to the mast (8) or the support structure (9) or the load-carrying apparatus (36), but is movably mounted by means of a bearing arrangement (62) such that it is movable relative to the mast (8) in response to mast vibrations, in particular to mast vibrations having horizontal vibration components, in order to counteract mast vibrations.

GOODS MOVEMENT APPARATUS

The invention relates to apparatus for use in the movement of goods and includes a transportable goods storage area or trailer. The trailer can be moved to a position adjacent a platform of lifting apparatus to allow goods to be moved to and from the trailer. A bridging assembly including one or more bridge portions is provided to form a bridge between the plat form and floor of the trailer. In one embodiment weight detection means are provided to allow the weight of the transportable goods storage area or trailer, and the goods therein, to be detected and compared to predetermined weight limits.

FORKLIFT

A forklift includes a cabin and a seat for use by a driver arranged in the cabin. The cabin has a lateral opening to enter and exit the cabin, and the seat is mounted rotatably relative to the cabin. There is a safety bracket for preventing the driver from involuntarily exiting the cabin through the lateral opening, and for providing lateral impact protection. The safety bracket is mechanically connected to the seat to be rotatable together with the seat.

LIFT TRUCK HAVING ADVANTAGEOUS DESIGN ELEMENTS

Lift trucks designed with a common chassis can include an ergonomically improved operator compartment, wheels, lift assembly, power plant, energy source, steering, seat, and counterweight components. Modular chassis designs can accommodate different form factors and different energy sources to accommodate different end uses of the lift truck, including lift trucks having a low floor, seatside steering, and/or a combination of operator-inaccessible compartments for high-reliability components and operator-accessible components for components that may require more frequent or convenient access. In one embodiment, the energy source is a lithium-ion battery bank in an operator-inaccessible compartment under a low, broad floor that facilitates easy entry into and exit from the operator compartment as well as ergonomic operation by the operator.
