This present invention relates to a body scanning device that is capable of both capturing, displaying and/or transmitting to remote locations the vital signs of a user and a preliminary diagnosis. More specifically, the body scanning device scans a palm of an individual using an electrical pulse to read and interpret the individual's vital signs, as well as allowing the user to input body parameter information such as sex, height, weight, etc. The body scanning device provides the individual with diagnostic questions, and an overall diagnosis based on the scan. The body scanning device is further comprised of Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth capabilities.

FORMULATIONS FOR DECONTAMINATING A SURFACE
20220079149 · 2022-03-17 ·

A first decontaminating formulation includes a volatile solvent, a non-volatile encapsulating agent that is soluble in the volatile solvent, and a microfiber composition dispersed in the volatile solvent, wherein the microfiber composition forms a three-dimensional microfiber network within the volatile solvent. A second decontaminating formulation includes a volatile solvent and a non-volatile encapsulating agent that is soluble in the volatile solvent, wherein the non-volatile encapsulating agent has a melt point above 37 degrees Celsius. As the volatile solvent evaporates, the microfiber network collapses to trap a contaminant and/or the non-volatile encapsulating agent solidifies around the contaminant to immobilize and eliminate the contaminant.

The present invention relates to a pest repellent composition containing the following components (A) and (B): (A) 13% by mass or more and 99.95% by mass or less of at least one non-volatile liquid oily component selected from the group consisting of a silicone oil, an ester oil, an ether oil, a hydrocarbon oil, an aliphatic alcohol, and a polyhydric alcohol, the non-volatile liquid oily component having a surface tension at 25° C. of 40 mN/m or less and a viscosity at 23° C. as measured with a B-type rotational viscometer of 400 mPa.Math.s or less; and (B) 0.05% by mass or more and 3.5% by mass or less of a prescribed fragrance.

HUMIDITY ACTIVATED COMPOSITIONS FOR RELEASE OF ANTIMICROBIALS

Compositions for humidity activated release of antimicrobials, and associated methods, are generally provided. Certain aspects are related to compositions comprising delivery materials (e.g., silica-based delivery materials) and antimicrobials. The delivery material and the antimicrobial can be associated with each other such that when humidity is introduced to the composition, at least a portion of the antimicrobial is released from the composition. Methods of releasing antimicrobials from compositions are also provided. Certain methods comprise allowing antimicrobial to be released from a composition such that the antimicrobial suppresses the actions or adverse effects of pathogens or pests.
