Device for uncorking a bottle of a pressurised liquid such as a bottle of champagne
A device for uncorking a bottle of a pressurised liquid such as a bottle of champagne. The device includes a hollow main body with a substantially cylindrical cross-section, with a lower portion including an opening allowing the neck of the bottle to pass therethrough and a profile capable of snap-fitting the lower portion onto the collar of the bottle, an intermediate portion making it possible to grip the device and guide the ejected cork into the main body, and an upper portion including means for trapping the ejected cork so as to make it possible to trap and retain the cork after extracting same.
Bottle striking
A bottle assembly includes: a pressurized bottle of fluid having an elongated body and a neck extending contiguously from the body to a top portion including an outwardly projecting annular flange; and a bottle severing mechanism including a bottle striker carried by the bottle and residing below the top portion. The bottle striker includes: a frame mounted to move relative to the bottle in response to an impact by a saber while remaining coupled to the bottle; and a striking edge extending from the frame and aligned with a lower surface of the annular flange of the bottle, such that movement of the frame relative to the bottle causes the striking edge to strike the lower surface of the annular flange to sever the top portion of the bottle from the body.
Cork remover for a bottle containing sparkling liquid
The present invention relates to a cork remover for a bottle containing sparkling liquid. The remover includes an outer body and an inner body having a cork-gripping device and being slidably mounted in the outer body. The cork remover includes a notch for positioning the outer body over a bottle cork's safety harness. The bottle-gripping device is on the outer body for engaging on the bottle neck and structure for restricting the inner body's sliding movement in the cork's expelling direction.
