A filling machine includes filling elements, each having a seal that seals a container's mouth, a filling valve, a gas valve, a liquid channel that, when the filling valve is opened, is in fluid communication with the container's interior, and a gas channel that, when the gas valve is open, is in fluid communication with the container's interior. The filling machine introduces an inert gas into the container's interior via the gas channel to create a preload pressure in the container such that the inert gas in the container dissolves in the liquid when the liquid is later introduced into the container. The filling machine is further configured to introduce a volume of liquid into the container's interior through the liquid channel at a filling pressure that exceeds the preload pressure.

A sterile carbonated beverage filling system includes a beverage sterilizing section which sterilizes a raw material liquid to prepare a sterilized beverage, a beverage cooling section which cools the sterilized beverage, a carbonated beverage producing section which injects carbonic acid gas into the sterilized beverage to prepare a sterile carbonated beverage, and a carbonated beverage filling section which fills the sterile carbonated beverage into a bottle. The beverage sterilizing section, the beverage cooling section, the carbonated beverage producing section, and the carbonated beverage filling section are connected by a beverage supply pipeline. The carbonated beverage filling section and the beverage supply pipeline each include a rotary machine, and a boundary surface between a rotating body and a non-rotating body of the rotary machine is sealed with sterile water or sterile air.

An apparatus for the automated filling of cartridges of e-vapor devices may include a filling drum configured to receive at least one cartridge of an e-vapor device. The apparatus may additionally include a needle assembly including at least one hypodermic needle. The needle assembly is configured to transition between a lowered state and a raised state. The lowered state is where the hypodermic needle is moved down into the cartridge, while the raised state is where the hypodermic needle is lifted up and away from the cartridge. The apparatus may further include a pump assembly configured to pump a pre-vapor formulation into the cartridge when the needle assembly is in the lowered state. The pump assembly may include a variable amplitude cam system configured to adjust an amount of the pre-vapor formulation for pumping to the cartridge without changing start and stop times for the pumping.

An apparatus for the automated filling of cartridges of e-vapor devices may include a filling drum configured to receive at least one cartridge of an e-vapor device. A system that dispenses precise amounts of ingredients in sequential steps that formulate a craft cocktail, mixed drink or shot into a single serve beverage container. The system then closes the container and a resulting vacuum is created that hermetically seals the lid to the container. The sealed container is then agitated in a prescribed motion to mix the contents as they would normally be done by expert individuals in the field of mixology or bartending. The system comprises of a series of stations that inject ingredients, a closing mechanism for the lid resulting in a vacuum that seals the lid to the container body, method of maintaining the lid on to the container body until vacuum is established, and agitating mechanism that precisely mixes the ingredients into themselves prior to finish packing.

Systems and methods for filling a beverage container with a carbonated fluid at ambient temperature while minimizing foam formation are provided. The carbonated fluid can maintain a laminar flow through the filling machine.

The invention relates to a cable fixing device for a container handling system and to a method for setting a minimum bending radius for a connecting cable of a container handling system. The cable fixing device comprises a main body, a cable guide which is arranged around a part of the main body, and a cover for covering an end of the cable guide in such a way that a connecting cable, which is pre-assembled with plug-in devices at both ends, can be introduced between the cover and the cable guide. The cable guide is configured at its other end for fixing of the connecting cable in such a way that a looping angle of the cable fixing device and connecting cable can be set variably.

A filling machine for pressure-filling containers includes a container receptacle arranged beneath the filling element, a first lift that vertically adjusts the filling element to accommodate different container sizes, a shield that adjusts relative to the filling element and comprises a single-piece partition and that, in a protection position, at least partially surrounds the container during filling thereof. An adjuster adjusts the shield and the receptacle relative to one another between a protection position and a release position by changing the receptacle's position relative to the shield in a region of a feeding-and-discharge device.
