CONTAINER PROVIDED WITH A CURVED INVERTIBLE DIAPHRAGM
A method for making a container made of a plastic material, provided with a base including a standing ring forming a support flange and a diaphragm extending from the standing ring to a central portion, the diaphragm being capable of standing in an outwardly-inclined position, wherein the diaphragm connects to the standing ring at an outer junction forming an outer articulation of the diaphragm; wherein the diaphragm connects to the central portion at an inner junction forming an inner articulation of the diaphragm; whereby the diaphragm is invertible with respect to the standing ring from the outwardly-inclined position to an inwardly-inclined position; and wherein, in the outwardly-inclined position, the diaphragm has an outer curved portion and an inner curved portion of opposite curvatures.
METHOD FOR FORMING A BOTTOM OF A PLASTIC CONTAINER, COMPRISING A STEP OF CHECKING THE INVERSION OF A DIAPHRAGM SITUATED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CONTAINER
A method for forming, in an inversion device, a base of a filled and sealed plastic container, comprising a step of inverting a diaphragm situated at the center of the base of the container and surrounded by a standing ring forming a standing surface. During the step, two opposing pushing members are set in relative motion with respect to one another so as to come into contact with and press on two longitudinally opposed regions of the container. During a phase of pushing the diaphragm during the inversion thereof, there is sought, on a curve representative of the force applied to the diaphragm to move same during the inversion, a variation on this curve that indicates whether the forces applied by the pushing members to the regions with which they are in contact are becoming smaller.
Hybrid method for processing containers
One embodiment of the present invention provides a method for processing plastic containers within an open aseptic converter chamber comprising a sanitized environment, a supply line, a sanitizer device, a perforator device, a sealing device, and a conveyer. During operation, the method includes: providing and filling a container with heated or heatable liquid including water; sealing the container with a seal or cap; cooling the container to create a first headspace pressure; enclosing the container within the chamber; creating an opening in the seal or cap within a sanitized environment of the perforator device; increasing the first headspace pressure to a second headspace pressure by introduction of a sanitized fluid; resealing the container within a sanitized environment of the sealing device; and, transporting or conveying the sealed container away from the chamber.
METHOD OF HANDLING A PLASTIC CONTAINER HAVING A MOVEABLE BASE
Method for processing hot-filled plastic containers are provided. In some embodiments, the method may include hot-filling a plastic container, sealing the container, and conveying the sealed container, each with an inner annular wall and a push-up portion in a first position. In some embodiments, the method may further include creating a vacuum pressure in the hot-filled and sealed container and repositioning the push-up portion from the first position to a second position under a mechanical force.
Filling and Packaging of Crafted Cocktails and Drinks and Method
A system that dispenses precise amounts of ingredients in sequential steps that formulate a craft cocktail, mixed drink or shot into a single serve beverage container. The system then closes the container and a resulting vacuum is created that hermetically seals the lid to the container. The sealed container is then agitated in a prescribed motion to mix the contents as they would normally be done by expert individuals in the field of mixology or bartending. The system comprises of a series of stations that inject ingredients, a closing mechanism for the lid resulting in a vacuum that seals the lid to the container body, method of maintaining the lid on to the container body until vacuum is established, and agitating mechanism that precisely mixes the ingredients into themselves prior to finish packing.
Headspace modification method for removal of vacuum pressure and apparatus therefor
To modify the headspace in a container to remove vacuum pressure, a container has a seal or cap which may provide a temporary opening into the container which is sealable under compression to provide a controlled raising of the internal pressure as the heated contents of the container cools. A sealing chamber (84) may enable the introduction of a fluid into the headspace (23b) to force the fluid level (40) lower. Other methods and apparatus are described.
MANUFACTURE OF CARBONATED BEVERAGES
The present invention provides a method for the manufacture of a carbonated beverage, including the steps of: providing oxygen-reduced water; mixing the oxygen-reduced water with a mixing component to obtain a beverage mixture, adding a gas comprising CO.sub.2 to the beverage mixture to obtain a beverage mixture mixed with CO.sub.2, reducing the oxygen content of the beverage mixture mixed with CO.sub.2 in a first container to obtain an oxygen-reduced beverage mixture mixed with CO.sub.2, discharging the oxygen-reduced beverage mixture mixed with CO.sub.2 from the first container, determining the CO.sub.2 content of the oxygen-reduced beverage mixture mixed with CO.sub.2; and adding further CO.sub.2 to the discharged oxygen-reduced beverage mixture mixed with CO.sub.2 on the basis of the determined CO.sub.2 content to obtain a finally carbonated beverage.
Device and method for pressure-packaging a container to be processed and associated pressure-packaging machine
Disclosed is a device and a method for pressure-packaging a container to be processed, which is sealed by a stopper, the device including a cap with a needle, a fluid injector, and a heating cannula, the cap being designed to be applied to the stopper in a tight manner, the needle being able to move so as to pierce a hole through the stopper, the cannula being able to move so as to close the hole by the melting of the material of the stopper, the needle and the cannula being arranged such that the axes of movement thereof are secant at a point located in the stopper, the end of the cannula being convex.
Device and method for filling a container with a sterilised filling product
A device for filling a container with a sterilized filling product, preferably for filling a beverage container with a sterilized beverage in a beverage bottling installation, comprising a sterilization device for sterilizing the filling product, a sterile tank for buffered receiving of the filling product sterilized in the sterilization device, and a filling device which has a filling valve for the filling of the container to be filled, wherein the filling valve is a proportional valve for controlling and/or regulating the filling-product flow of the filling product into the container to be filled, and the proportional valve is connected in a buffer-free manner to the sterile tank.
Container base including hemispherical actuating diaphragm
A container including a finish defining an opening at a first end of the container that provides access to an internal volume defined by the container. A base portion of the container includes a diaphragm that is concave relative to an exterior of the container. The diaphragm extends from a standing surface of the container to a center push-up portion of the base portion. The standing surface is at a second end of the container opposite to the first end. The diaphragm is configured to move from an as-blown first configuration to a second configuration in which the diaphragm is closer to the first end as compared to the first configuration in order to reduce residual vacuum within the container. The diaphragm is generally hemispherical in cross-section when in the second configuration.
