The inflow channel is adjoined by a first outflow channel with at least one filter for treating the air pretreated in the inflow channel for feeding into a filling cleanroom of the beverage filling plant. The inflow channel is adjoined by a second outflow channel for treating the air pretreated in the inflow channel for feeding into a blowing cleanroom for the blow-molding of plastic containers. A dehumidifying device for dehumidifying the pretreated air is arranged in the second outflow channel.

The present invention relates to an apparatus for filling and closing containers. The problem of the present invention is to develop an apparatus for filling and closing containers such that the risk of the apparatus being contaminated by spilled contents is effectively prevented. This problem is solved by an apparatus for filling and closing containers which comprises a first process wheel (1) for filling a container and a second process wheel (2) for closing a filled container and also a transfer device (3) for transferring the filled containers from the first process wheel (1) to the second process wheel (2). The transfer device (3) has a linear transfer route (4).

According to the invention, at least one visually imperceptible intensive state variable or material characteristic of components of the containers, which components are provided as solid bodies, is measured in the area of the production system with respect to the batch and/or object in question. Furthermore, at least one production process proceeding therein for treating and/or transporting the components/containers by machine is controlled on the basis of the measured material characteristic and/or intensive state variable. In this way, quality fluctuations of the components can be quantified and can be used both in the control and in a simulation of the individual production processes in order to optimize these production processes and the associated process units.
