A method of filling at least one fluid housing with fluid is disclosed. The method includes: (a) arranging at least one fluid housing within a sealable vessel containing a fluid and attached to a vacuum; and (b) activating the vacuum such that air is withdrawn from the sealable vessel and the fluid is drawn into the at least one fluid housing.

An apparatus for producing plastic bottles comprising: a blow moulding machine including a blow moulding carousel being configured to transform a succession of plastic preforms into respective bottles; a filling machine including: a filling carousel, and a plurality of handling units; a labeling unit configured to feed a succession of labels to be attached to the respective bottles; and a conveying system configured to transfer the bottles within the apparatus. The labeling unit is arranged peripherally to the filling carousel and is configured to feed the labels to the handling units carrying the respective bottles while the handling units are advanced by the filling carousel. The conveying system includes a plurality of consecutive transport star wheels transferring the bottles in a continuous stream from the blow moulding carousel to the filling carousel.

A container-handling device includes two rotors, holders that are arranged around a periphery of the first rotor and receptacles around the first rotor such that as it rotates, the receptacles pass through distinct angular ranges. When a receptacle has a container, relative movement therebetween causes its centering element and its counter-bearing to clamp a container between them with the holder engaging the container above the counter-bearing A first partial-stroke occurs while the receptacle is in a first angular region and a second partial-stroke occurs after the receptacle has left the first angular region. During the first partial-stroke, the centering element bears against a container's mouth with a pressure, and, during the second partial-stroke, this pressure increases.

An active clamping device for holding a container in a container treatment device, for example for holding a beverage container by a neck section, includes two clamping arms and a pre-tensioning element. Each clamping arm has a holding section for holding the container that is to be held, and a control section for interacting with a control cam to actively displace each holding section. The pre-tensioning element pre-tensions the holding sections in a predetermined position. The clamping arms and the pre-tensioning element are formed as a single piece. A clamping arm and a container treatment device are also provided.

The disclosure concerns a dispensing system, having at least one dispense location with at least one dispensing head configured to dispense a beverage through a bottom portion of a container. In one aspect, the dispensing head may dispense a plurality of different beverage ingredients which a user may select to dispense a custom beverage. In another aspect the dispensing system comprises a modular dispensing system having a plurality of dispense locations each connected through piping to a central, remote ingredient system.

The disclosure concerns a dispensing system, having at least one dispense location with at least one dispensing head configured to dispense a beverage through a bottom portion of a container. In one aspect, the dispensing head may dispense a plurality of different beverage ingredients which a user may select to dispense a custom beverage. The apparatus includes a penetration unit that is suitable and designed for generating an opening in at least an area of the closure cap and/or of the container, and an application unit that applies a flowable and in particular gaseous medium onto an internal space of the container through this opening (or feeds gaseous medium into this intern space). Further the apparatus includes a closing unit that re-closes the opening.
