Device and method for filling a fill product into a container to be filled in a beverage bottling plant
A device for filling a fill product into a container to be filled in a beverage bottling plant. The device includes a fill product reservoir for storing the fill product, a fill product channel, and a filling member in fluid communication with the fill product reservoir via the fill product channel. The filling member is configured to introduce the fill product into the container to be filled and the filling member communicates via media channels to provide media flows for two or more functions: flushing the container with a flushing gas, pre-pressurizing the container before it is filled, returning gas displaced during the filling of the container, relieving a gas overpressure in the container, and circulating a hot fill product through the filling member for controlling a temperature. A single media channel of the media channels is configured to provide the media flows for at least two of the functions.
Fill valve assembly for filler device and associated method of use
A fill valve assembly for use in association with a filler device including: a vent tube; a valve housing; a valve sleeve; and a quick start seal member, wherein: (1) the vent tube is positioned at least partially within the valve housing and the valve sleeve, (2) the valve housing is in communication with the filler device, (3) the valve sleeve is positioned at least partially within the valve housing, (4) the quick start seal member is positioned within the valve housing; and (5) the fill valve assembly is configured for precluding filling start lag during normal operation of the filler device.

Gaiter seal and working head of a device or machine for producing and/or treating containers, said working head comprising such a gaiter seal
A gaiter seal for shielding a functional element of a container-processing machine extends between parts of a working head of the container-processing machine includes axially-adjacent gaiter modules that extend along an axis and support-and-sliding elements at interfaces between adjacent gaiter modules. The support-and-sliding elements radially support and guide the first and second gaiter-modules along the functional element.
Magnetorheological actuator for a filling unit of a beverage filling system
An actuator for controlling a fluid path includes an actuator having a seat part, either a fluid-valve membrane or a movable part, and a magnetorheological elastomer that changes form when a magnetic field changes. This causes the path to open or close.

Sanitary fill head
A filler head apparatus 20 for hygienically filling and emptying containers 22 through a fitment 24 incorporated with the container 22 includes a cylindrical outer housing 30 for receiving a hollow bore inner cylinder 32 which is actuated to simultaneously reciprocate and rotate about a central axis 33 within the outer housing. A transfer tube assembly 34 is mounted to the inner cylinder 32 to travel with the inner cylinder between an extended position engaged with the fitment 24 and a retracted position disengage from the fitment. When the transfer tube assembly is engaged with the fitment, flowable content or product may be transferred to or from the container 22. A fitment cap assembly 36 is also mounted to the inner cylinder 22 to travel with the inner cylinder to remove the cap 38 of the fitment 24 prior to either filling or emptying the container 22, and then to retract to a standby position while the container is filled/emptied, and thereafter replacing the fitment cap after filling/emptying has been completed.

Method for filling container with a gasified liquid and associated devices
The invention concerns a method for filling a thermoplastic container (2), comprising a mouth (2a), with a gasified liquid having a pressure (P), said method using a filling unit (1) and comprising the steps of: —Positioning the container (2) under a filling head (3) of the filling unit (1), the filling head (3) comprising a product filling valve (8); —Establishing fluid tight connection between the filling head (3) and the mouth (2a) of the container (2); —Delivering a first volume of a first product (FL) in the container, said first volume being less than 10% of the maximum defined volume of the container; —Pressurizing the container (2) with a pressurized gas (G) at a pressure similar to the pressure (P) of the gasified liquid to be filled, using at least one pressurization valve (9a, 9b); —Filling the container (2) under pressurized condition until its maximum defined volume with the gasified liquid (PL), using the product filling valve (8); —Depressurizing the container (2) using a venting valve (10); —Separating the container (2) from the filling head (3); the resulting gasified liquid in the container (2) being a mixture of the first product (FL) and of the gasified liquid (PL). The invention is also related to the associated devices.
APPARATUS FOR FILLING CARTRIDGES OF E-VAPOR DEVICES
An apparatus for the automated filling of cartridges of e-vapor devices may include a filling drum configured to receive at least one cartridge of an e-vapor device. The apparatus may additionally include a needle assembly including at least one hypodermic needle. The needle assembly is configured to transition between a lowered state and a raised state. The lowered state is where the hypodermic needle is moved down into the cartridge, while the raised state is where the hypodermic needle is lifted up and away from the cartridge. The apparatus may further include a pump assembly configured to pump a pre-vapor formulation into the cartridge when the needle assembly is in the lowered state. The pump assembly may include a variable amplitude cam system configured to adjust an amount of the pre-vapor formulation for pumping to the cartridge without changing start and stop times for the pumping.
