The present application describes a product dispenser. The product dispenser may include at least one macro-ingredient source, at least one micro-ingredient source positioned about the dispenser, a diluent source, a dispensing valve, a number of pumps or metering devices, and a user interface. The user interface receives a request for a product type and instructs the pumps or metering devices to dispense a predetermined type and ratio of macro-ingredients, micro-ingredients, and diluent to the dispensing valve for a predetermined flow rate.

Carbonation Reduction Systems and Methods

A beverage dispensing valve may include an inlet to receive carbonated water, a nozzle shell, and an outlet downstream of the nozzle shell configured to dispense a finished beverage. The nozzle shell may include an aperture open to ambient pressure environment. A method for dispensing a beverage may include flowing carbonated water through an inlet of a beverage dispensing valve, lowering the pressure of the carbonated water sufficient to promote carbon dioxide nucleation, flowing the carbonated water through a chamber vented to environment such that a portion of carbon dioxide nucleated is off-gassed, and introducing a beverage ingredient when the carbonated water reaches a sufficiently low carbonation level. A beverage dispensing nozzle may include an inlet configured to receive carbonated water from a beverage dispensing valve, a nozzle shell including an aperture open to ambient pressure environment, and an outlet downstream of the nozzle shell configured to dispense a finished beverage.

Beverage dispensing heads with lighting modules

A beverage dispensing head includes a housing having a front, a rear, and a base that extends between the front and the rear. A mixing nozzle is configured to dispense a flow of beverage via the base. A valve is configured to control the flow of beverage via the mixing nozzle, and a switch is movable into and between a closed position in which the valve opens the flow of beverage via the mixing nozzle and an open position in which the valve closes the flow of beverage via the mixing nozzle. A lighting module disposed in the housing is configured to illuminate the front of the housing and the base of the housing when the switch is moved into the closed position.

A beverage dispenser and methods of beverage dispensing include a dispenser with a beverage valve and a purge valve. The beverage valve is connected the dispenser body and is actively operable to control a flow of a base beverage into a flow path of the dispenser. The purge valve is selectively operable to control a flow of a purge substance into the flow path. A nozzle is configured to mix a flavoring from a flavoring nozzle with a base beverage from the beverage valve prior to dispensing a mixture of the flavoring and the base beverage from the nozzle.

Apparatuses, systems, and methods for dispensing condiments

Apparatuses, systems, and methods are for dispensing condiments, including a base condiment together with and at least one additive. In some examples, a dispenser apparatus comprises a dispenser body having an upstream inlet that is configured to receive the base condiment and a downstream outlet that is configured to dispense the base condiment together with the additive(s). An additive body is configured to supply the additive(s) into the dispenser body as the base condiment is conveyed from the upstream inlet to the downstream outlet so that the base condiment and the additive(s) are concurrently dispensed via the downstream outlet. The systems and methods can operatively include arrangements for selecting a base condiment; selecting one or more additives from a plurality of additives; and supplying the base condiment and the additive(s) to a dispenser apparatus that dispenses the base condiment and additive(s) together.

A nozzle flush adapter includes an externally threaded coupler configured to threadably engage and secure a mixer nozzle in a fluid tight coupling together with a hose receiving coupler having an internal thread configured to engage and secure the threaded end of a conventional water hose in a fluid tight coupling. The nozzle flush adapter facilitates cleaning and reuse of normally disposable mixer nozzles exposed to two-component epoxy adhesives and the like by allowing the user to exercise a method whereby the user is able to flush water under pressure through the mixer nozzle before the material has cured.

Methods and apparatuses for providing a selectable beverage from a post-mix beverage dispenser are provided. In one embodiment, the method for providing a beverage having a separately selected color from a post-mix beverage dispensing system comprises: (a) providing at least two beverage bases for dispense from the post-mix beverage dispensing system; (b) separately storing at least two colorants in the post-mix beverage dispensing system; (c) receiving a request for a selected beverage base and the separately selected color with a computer processor; and (d) in response to the selection of the selected beverage base and the separately selected color, automatically dispensing through a single faucet of the post-mix beverage dispensing system, continuously in a predetermined ratio for any volume of the beverage dispensed, the selected beverage base and at least one of the colorants to provide the beverage having the separately selected color.

BEVERAGE DISPENSER FOR POST MIX BEVERAGES

A beverage dispenser includes a dispenser housing having a first inlet, a piston being disposed in the dispenser housing, with the piston having a chamber extending through the piston, where the piston is movable in the dispenser housing between an open position and a closed position. The first inlet is in fluid communication with the chamber when in the open position. The first inlet is blocked from fluid communication with the chamber when in the closed position.

Beverage dispensing system with a head capable of dispensing plural different beverages

A beverage dispensing system with a base to which a dispensing head is removably attached without additional fasteners, wherein beverage forming liquids are supplied through a plurality of separate conduits in the base. Each base conduit has a normally closed valve that normally blocks fluid flow. The dispensing head has at least one passageway that receives liquid from an associated one of the base conduits. A projection associated with each dispensing head passageway opens the associated conduit valve to allow fluid flow from the base to the head. Dispensing valves in the dispensing head are independently accountable to regulate the dispensing of the beverage. In one version of the invention, four liquids are supplied to the dispensing head through the conduits, namely two liquid concentrates; carbonated water; and non-carbonated water. By selective opening of the dispensing valves, a plurality of beverages are formed from combinations of one or more of the liquids. A dispensing head for dispensing at least one carbonated fluid includes an inlet opening and an outlet opening at each end of a passage extending through a body, the inlet opening having a smaller cross-sectional area than the outlet opening.
