Stabilized chemical composition
Stabilized liquid agrochemical compositions are provided that comprise flowable, aqueous dispersion concentrates comprising a) a continuous aqueous liquid phase; b) at least one dispersed, solid phase comprising a dispersion of polymer particles having a mean particle size of at least one micron, wherein the outside surfaces of the particles comprise a colloidal solid material and wherein the particles have at least one agrochemically active ingredient distributed therein, optionally a non-porous particulate mineral that acts as a diffusion barrier to slow the release of the active ingredient, and optionally at least one non-cross-linkable mobile chemical such that the extraction of this chemical from the disperse phase renders it porous in a manner that allows the active ingredient to diffuse out. The colloidal solid is used to stabilize the polymerizable resin in an emulsion state during preparation. In one embodiment, the agrochemically active ingredient is a solid and is distributed within the dispersed solid phase or is a liquid and is distributed within the dispersed solid phase. The compositions of the invention can be used directly or with dilution to combat pests or as plant growth regulators.

Compositions for inhibition of insect sensing
In one aspect, the invention relates to chemical modulators of insect olfactory receptors. In particular, compounds and compositions are provided that can inhibit sensory (e.g., host targeting) functions in airborne insects such as mosquitos. Methods of employing such agents, and articles incorporating the same, are also provided. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present invention.

It is to provide a method which does not have problem with safety and enables controlling various pests even at a low dosage, and a pest control agent composition and a pest control agent set which are suitable to be used for the method. At least one selected from a compound of formula (I) (wherein, R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted C1-6 alkyl group, etc., R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom or a C1-6 alkyl group, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 optionally form a C2-6 alkylene group together, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a C1-6 alkyl group, R.sup.5 represents a substituted or unsubstituted C1-6 alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted C2-6 alkynyl group, Y represents a C1-6 haloalkyl group, X represents a halogeno group, a C1-6 alkyl group, or the like) and a salt thereof is used with an insecticidal or acaricidal active component.
