The keg dispensing coupler may be configured to be moved between a closed position and an open position; The keg sensor may additionally include a second connector attached to the main body and configured to be connected to a valve of a keg. The keg sensor may further include a sensor assembly attached to the main body and configured to detect one or more operating parameters of liquid dispensed, via the keg dispensing coupler, from the keg through the keg sensor. In some embodiments, the keg sensor assembly may include a keg sensor and a stack cage assembly. The stack cage assembly may include a cage sized to surround the keg sensor.
Beverage container and valve for a beverage container
Beverage container (1) and valve (6) for a beverage container. Beverage container (1), comprising a body (2) and a neck (3), wherein at the neck (3) a valve (6) is provided for dispensing a beverage comprising gas from the container (1), wherein an inner surface part (21) of the container (1) adjacent the valve (6), especially an inner surface part of the container within the neck between the body and an inlet side (8) of the valve (6) is smooth and sloping towards the inlet side of the valve, such that foam is prevented from being trapped at the inner surface of the neck (3).
Compact portable cooling container and keg dispenser
The present invention is directed to a portable container for a beverage, such as beer, from a Sixth barrel or Cornelius keg. The portable container is specifically designed for storing, cooling, transporting and dispensing a beverage, such as beer. The portable container has a self-contained container of CO.sub.2, a regulator, and a tap for the keg.
Dispensing probe for dispensing flowable material
A probe for dispensing a flowable material includes a body having a first end and a second and a passage extending therethrough. The probe has a first engagement portion configured to have a deformed state when the first end of the body is in contact with a dispensing component, and an undeformed state. The probe has a channel having a floor and two walls and is on the first engagement portion. The probe has a second engagement portion to frictionally fit within the dispensing component and to form a seal between the probe and the component. The probe has a locking groove to prevent movement of the probe relative to the dispensing component. In the undeformed state, the walls of the channel are spaced apart at a first distance, and in the deformed state, the walls are spaced apart at a second, smaller distance.
VALVE ASSEMBLY
A pressure relief valve assembly may include a housing having an inner lumen, a pin configured to engage the housing, and a spring coupled to the pin. The spring may bias the pin in a closed position relative to the inner lumen of the housing and axially extend when the pin is adjusted from the closed position to an opened position.
Dispensing system
A dispensing system (100) for dispensing a beverage, comprising a beverage container (1) having an outlet (3), the outlet having a valve (2) arranged therein, the valve having a first inner face (12) and a first inner valve diameter (D1), and a one-way dispensing line (10), comprising a flexible tube (16), and a connecting unit (17) being configured to be inserted into the valve (2) for opening the valve, so that beverage present in the beverage container (1) may be dispensed via the dispensing line (10), the connecting unit (17) having an axial extension (Ae), and comprising a first part (18) configured to be connected with the flexible tube (16) and a second part (19), the first part (18) and the second part (19) are releasably connected to each other by a first connection force, wherein the second part (19) has at least one projectable member (28), projecting in a radial direction, the at least one projectable member (28) has an extension from the outer face of the second part (19), so that when the second part of the connecting unit (17) is inserted into the valve (2), the at least one protectable member (28) is configured to abut the first inner face of the valve by a second connection therebetween, the second connection providing a second connection force, and the second connection force being larger than the first connection force.
Beer spear with a pressure relief valve
The present invention discloses a beer spear with a pressure relief valve, which comprises a beer spear seat, a pressure relief valve, an inner tube fixing sleeve, an inner tube fixing spring and an inner tube assembly; the pressure relief valve is arranged on the outer side of the beer spear seat and the pressure inlet of the pressure relief valve communicates with a gas storage chamber; a head movable hole matching the head of a dispenser is opened at the top of the beer spear seat. The present invention is more convenient to assemble and disassemble a draft beer keg, and also the space for the draft beer keg is saved and the problems such as gas leakage and draft beer spoiling caused by damages of the gas tube are avoided.
Dispense head with pressure equalising valve
The present invention relates to a dispense head configured to be coupled to a beverage container above a container valve arranged in the beverage container in a dispensing system, the dispense head comprising a housing having a first end and a second end, a hollow piston arranged displaceably in an axial direction within the housing, the piston being connected to a handle so that upon activation of the handle, the piston will be displaced axially towards and beyond a second end of the housing in order to open the container valve, and a gas inlet arranged in the housing, which via a fluid channel is fluidly connected with a space extending along the piston and between the housing and the piston, wherein the housing comprises an opening extending through the housing and being in fluid communication with the fluid channel, and wherein a valve is arranged in the fluid channel opposite the opening, the valve having a first position in which the gas inlet is fluidly connected with an inside of the beverage container when the piston has opened the container valve, and a second position in which the gas inlet is closed and the inside of the beverage container is fluidly connected with the opening so that a gas present in the beverage container may be pressure equalised with the environment before the dispense head is decoupled from the beverage container. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a dispensing system for dispensing beverage and to a method for dispensing beverage.
VALVE CLOSURE INCORPORATING AN OVER-PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE
The valve closure (e.g. an A-type closure) has a closure body (1) for attachment to a container, a gas inlet port (14), a liquid dispensing port (25), and a valve member (6) to sealably close the gas inlet and liquid dispensing ports. An over-pressure relief valve (40) is configured to release gas from within the container in the event that an internal pressure limit is exceeded, and a user-operable depressurising lever (50) is arranged to permit the over-pressure relief valve to be manually opened. The over-pressure relief valve (40) comprises a plunger (53) which is urged against a seat (52) by a spring (57), and the depressurising lever (50) incorporates an abutment (58) for the spring (57). The plunger (53) includes an arrowhead formation (59) by which the depressurising lever (50) engages the plunger to hold the valve open during manual operation. The depressurising lever (50) incorporates an integral hinge (62) which also forms a frangible connection so that the lever becomes detached from the closure body and permanently opens the over-pressure release valve when manually operated.
