Systems and Methods for Wine Processing
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to extracting the liquid from a container (such as a bottle of wine) in varying amounts at a desired serving temperature while preserving the liquid for later consumption. Various embodiments may be built within an appliance so the consumer experience is fully automated. Embodiments may include a variety of wine preservation techniques including the use of inert gases that prevent the oxidation of wine.
Internet-enabled beverage maker
A home beverage dispensing device for dispensing servings of a beverage, having a vessel for holding a volume of liquid. This vessel may be equipped with a refrigeration unit, or may be comprised of a removable pitcher that may be put in an external refrigerator. This invention is equipped with a radio communications controller to provide for the ability to communicate over radio frequencies such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. A special disposable beverage cartridge or beverage pouch fits into the holder. This cartridge or pouch may have pressure rupturable seals or diaphragms and contain beverage concentrate. The mixing structure also receives the optionally chilled liquid from vessel for holding a volume of liquid, and ensures that the concentrate mixes with the liquid without contacting the walls of the mixing structure.
Internet-enabled beverage maker
A device for dispensing individual servings of a cold beverage with Wi-Fi connectivity, either having a refrigeration unit to chill the beverage or a removable pitcher that may be put in a refrigerator. A special disposable beverage cartridge or beverage pouch fits into the holder. This cartridge or pouch may have pressure rupturable seals or diaphragms and contain beverage concentrate. A dispensing mechanism puts pressure on the cartridge or the pouch to break the pressure rupturable seal or diaphragm to discharge the concentrate into a mixing structure. The mixing structure also receives chilled liquid from the refrigeration unit or the pitcher, and ensures that the concentrate mixes with the liquid without contacting the walls of the mixing structure.
DEVICE FOR PREPARATION OF GELATIN-BASED PRODUCTS
Methods and systems are provided for preparing a gelatin-based product. In one example, a device for preparing the gelatin-based product includes a mixing chamber for mixing a gelatin based powder with one or more liquids to form a liquid gelatin mixture, a chilling module for cooling the mixture, and a dispensing system for serving the hardened mixture. In some examples, the device may include a first mixing chamber for mixing the gelatin based powder with heated water to form a first liquid mixture, a second mixing chamber for mixing the first liquid mixture with an alcoholic beverage to form a second liquid mixture, a first chilling module for cooling the second liquid mixture prior to dispensing the second liquid mixture, and a second cooling module for hardening the second liquid mixture after it has been dispensed into one or more serving cups.

APPARATUS FOR THE COOLING OF A DRINKING LIQUID, IN PARTICULAR DRINKING WATER, WITH INNOVATIVE COOLING SYSTEM WITH PELTIER EFFECT
The disclosed apparatus cools a drinking liquid utilizing the Peltier effect, and optionally includes a system of gasification for gasifying the drinking liquid, once cooled. The cooling system in turn includes: a first cooling circuit, in which an operating fluid circulates, associated with a hot side of a Peltier cell; and a second cooling circuit, in which the drinking liquid circulates, associated with a cold side of the Peltier cell. The Peltier cell is integrated in a cooling unit exhibiting a special sandwich structure which integrates, as well as the Peltier cell, a first and a second heat exchanger, apt respectively to exchange directly the heat between the operating fluid which circulates in the first cooling circuit and the hot side of the Peltier cell and between the drinking liquid which circulates in the second cooling circuit and the cold side of the Peltier cell to cool the drinking liquid.
Beverage Dispensing Appliance Comprising a Cooling Unit
An appliance for dispensing a beverage is disclosed. The appliance has a housing that defines an inner space for a beverage keg. The keg extends along a gravitational direction, X1, parallel to the gravity field, from a top position to a bottom position, wherein the top position is higher in the gravity field than the bottom position when the appliance is in use. A pressure unit pressurizes the interior of the keg. A tap unit dispenses beverages from the keg driven by pressure. A cooling unit cools the beverage in the keg. The cooling unit is suitable for cooling a specific cold area of the keg's outer wall to a temperature lower than any other point of the keg. The cold area of the keg is located in the top third portion of the keg according to the X1 direction.
Cold water production apparatus and method
A cold water production apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention can include an apparatus body; a water tank which is provided in the apparatus body and which accommodates water flowing in from a water supply source; a cold water production pipe which is provided in the apparatus body so as to be connected to the water tank, and which allows the water accommodated in the water tank to flow thereto, move therein and then be discharged; and a cooling unit which is mounted on the outer surface of the apparatus body, and which cools the apparatus body so that the water accommodated in the water tank and the water flowing in the cold water production pipe is cooled.
APPARATUS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS RELATING TO TRANSFER OF FLUIDS TO/FROM CONTAINERS AND/OR STORAGE/TRANSPORT OF FLUIDS IN CONTAINERS
Disclosed are exemplary embodiments of apparatus, systems and methods relating to transfer of fluids to/from containers and/or storage/transport of fluids in containers. In an exemplary embodiment, an apparatus comprises a container including a fitment having an opening. The apparatus may include a valve within the fitment. The valve may be configured to inhibit fluid flow out of the container. The apparatus may also include a transfer tube configured to be positioned through the opening of the fitment. The transfer tube may engage and open the valve to thereby provide an open passage to/from the container.
