Plant disease control composition and method for controlling plant disease by applying the same

Provided is a plant disease control composition having a broad spectrum against various plant pathogens, and shows excellent controlling effects (synergistic controlling effects) which cannot be expected from a single component alone. The plant disease control composition comprises (Group a) at least one quinoline compound represented by the formula: ##STR00001##
(wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2: an alkyl which may be substituted, an aryl which may be substituted, etc.; R.sup.3, R.sup.4: H, an alkyl which may be substituted, etc.; X: halogen, an alkyl which may be substituted, etc.; Y: halogen, alkyl, etc.; n: 0 to 4; m: 0 to 6) or a salt thereof, and at least one of fungicidal compounds selected from the group consisting of a Strobilurin series compound, a triazole series compound, etc., as effective ingredients.

Cleansing composition having a preservative system and a wet wipe comprising the clean compositions

A wet wipe includes a cleansing composition and a substrate. The cleansing composition includes a preservative enhancing agent selected from the group consisting of caprylyl glycol; caprylyl glyceryl ether; glyceryl caprylate; sorbitan caprylate; ethylhyexyl glycerin, and combinations thereof. The cleansing composition includes a preservative selected from the group consisting of benzoic acid; lactic acid; sorbic acid; malic acid; maleic acid, and combinations thereof. The cleansing composition has a pH less than about 4. A method of making the cleansing composition may include dissolving one or more preservatives with water to form a solution; adding a rheology modifier to the solution; adding an emulsifier to the solution; adding a preservative enhancing agent to the solution; and adding citric acid to the solution.

Benzoic acid herbicide composition

An emulsifiable concentrate comprising a benzoic acid herbicide in acid form dissolved in an amide solvent and an amide solvent and an amine emulsion stabiliser. Preferably: the benzoic acid herbicide is selected from TBA, chloramben and dicamba acid, the amine is of the formula (I) NR.sup.1R.sup.2R.sup.3 where wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are independently selected from the group selected from hydrogen; C.sub.1 to C.sub.10 alkyl; C.sub.5 or C.sub.6 cycloaliphatic optionally substituted with from one to four C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkyl groups and/or an amino-C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkyl group; C.sub.1 to C.sub.10 alkyl substituted with a substituent selected from the group consisting of hydroxyl, C.sub.1 to C.sub.10 alkoxy, amino, (C.sub.1 to C.sub.5 alkyl)amino and di-(C.sub.1 to C.sub.6 alkyl)amino; and the group wherein two of R.sub.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 together form a ring of 5 or 6 constituent ring members selected from methylene, O, N(H) and N(C.sub.1 to C.sub.6-alkyl) and the other of R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 is selected from hydrogen, C.sub.1 to C.sub.5 alkyl and C.sub.1 to C.sub.5 alkyl substituted with a substituent selected from the group consisting of hydroxyl, C.sub.1 to C.sub.5 alkoxy, amino and (C.sub.1 to C.sub.5 alkyl)amino; and wherein at least one of R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 is other than hydrogen, and the amide solvents are of the formula (II) R.sup.4CONR.sup.5R.sup.6 where R is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and C.sub.1 to C.sub.17 hydrocarbyl, and R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are is selected from the group consisting of C.sub.1 to C.sub.15 hydrocarbyl and may together from a ring incorporating the nitrogen of the amide comprising 4 or 5 methylene groups.
