An adapter for an airtight connection to a container and for airtight dispensing of the container's contents, the adapter having: a gate valve, a tube extending from the gate valve to a female coupling, the female coupling being configured for insertion in a mouth of the container, the female coupling having a dispensing valve for opening when dispensing the container's contents and closing when dispensing is finished as needed, such that air is prevented from entering the container, and an airtight connector for connecting the adapter to the container.

Apparatuses, systems, and methods for dispensing beverages using alcoholic concentrates

A beverage dispenser includes a gas infusion device that receives a base fluid and a gas and dispenses a gas infused liquid, a ratio pump that receives the gas infused liquid and a concentrate from a concentrate source and dispenses a predetermined ratio of the gas infused liquid and the concentrate, and a mixing chamber that mixes the predetermined ratio of the gas infused liquid and the concentrate to form a reconstituted beverage. An insulated enclosure has an interior space in which the ratio pump and the mixing chamber are positioned. A cooling heat exchanger is positioned in the insulated enclosure, and a first refrigeration system circulates a cooling media through the cooling heat exchanger to thereby cool the interior space to a suitable temperature such that the gas infused liquid and the concentrate dispensed from the ratio pump and the mixing chamber are cooled to the suitable temperature.

Fitting for a cask having an overpressure function

A fitting arrangement for a cask is disclosed having a fitting sleeve with a riser pipe arranged therein, and resiliently moveable relative thereto. The fitting sleeve has a conically extending inner sealing surface tapering toward an upper end, and a seal is incorporated between the inner sealing surface and the upper end of the riser conduit. The riser pipe is pressed with the seal against the sealing surface with a spring force, and the seal is arranged internally in the upper end of the riser pipe, wherein a sealing body is arranged in the upper end of the riser pipe and is resiliently moveable relative thereto, which sealing body comes to bear with form-fit engagement on an internal sealing surface of the seal as a result of the spring force.

Reed Switch Pump

A beverage syrup pump system is disclosed including a pump housing having an internal pumping chamber, a pump motor, and a pumping mechanism driven by the motor within the pumping chamber. The pumping mechanism receives a syrup fluid at a first pressure and discharges the fluid at a second pressure which is greater than the first pressure. Connected to the pumping chamber is a cylindrical space with a spring and a plunger having a magnet. The plunger is in contact with a quantity of the fluid at a second pressure and moves along the cylindrical space against the biasing force of the spring. Once the second pressure exceeds a predetermined pressure, the corresponding fluid pressure in the cylindrical space exerts enough force on the plunger to move it past a predetermined point within the cylindrical space such that the magnet causes a reed switch in a first position switch to move to a second position and send a signal to a controller. The controller will immediately stop the pump motor if it receives the signal from the reed switch, or if a timer sends a signal indicating the pump has been running for a predetermined maximum run time.

Apparatus for dispensing a liquid from a liquid storage container

A removable liquid transport assembly configured to be readily installed in and removed from a liquid dispenser to permit the liquid dispenser to be readily sanitized. The removable liquid transport assembly preferably includes a liquid manifold, a valve assembly and a pump head. The removable liquid transport assembly is configured such that liquid can flow in a first direction through the removable liquid transport assembly to permit a liquid to be dispensed from a liquid dispenser and liquid can flow in a second direction back to a liquid storage container to prevent damage to one or more components of the liquid dispenser.

Hybrid system and method for producing a substantially non-foaming and foaming gas-infused beverages

A system prepares and dispenses non gas-infused and gas-infused beverages including a gas source, a pressurizable container connected to the gas source to receive a first flow of gas, a gas infusion tank connected to the gas source to receive a second flow of gas, a first dispensing tap that receives a portion of preprocessed beverage stored in the pressurizable container that flows under pressure from a portion of the first flow of gas to dispense a non gas-infused beverage from the first dispensing tap, and a second dispensing tap that receives gas-infused beverage from the gas infusion vessel to dispense the gas-infused beverage by the second dispensing tap, the gas-infused tank receiving a portion of the preprocessed beverage from the pressurizable container to infuse the preprocessed beverage in the gas infusion vessel with at least a portion of the second flow of gas.

REFRIGERATOR EQUIPPED WITH APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING CARBONATED WATER

A refrigerator includes a body, a storage chamber, a door, a water tank to store clean water, a carbonated water production module mounted to a back surface of the door while including a carbon dioxide gas cylinder stored with carbon dioxide gas, and a carbonated water tank to produce carbonated water through mixing of the clean water with the carbon dioxide gas, a dispenser including a dispensation space formed at the door, a carbonated discharge line to connect the carbonated water tank and the dispensation space, so as to retrieve the carbonated water in the dispensation space, and a clean water discharge line to connect the water tank and the dispensation space without passing through the carbonated water tank, so as to retrieve the clean water in the dispensation space, and a carbonated water regulator to maintain a discharge pressure of the carbonated water at a predetermined pressure.

CONTAINER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF

A container includes a plastics pressure vessel defining a hollow interior volume suitable for containing a quantity of a liquid, and comprising an inlet/outlet aperture extending through a wall thereof, and being in fluid communication with the hollow interior thereof. An insert, manufactured from a different, harder plastics material to that of the pressure vessel is provided within the inlet/outlet aperture, which is sealingly united (fused) with a periphery of the container to be securely retained therein. The plastics pressure vessel can be blow moulded around the insert so as to sealingly unite or fuse with the insert in the region of the interface between the different materials of which vessel and insert are formed. The insert may have a series of flats machined or otherwise formed around and into its outer circumferential surface so the insert is inhibited from axially or rotationally displacing relative to the pressure vessel.

LIQUID EXTRACTION, STORAGE, AND DISPENSING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE

A system for extracting a liquid from a container. The system comprises a liquid extraction member including a liquid extraction inlet and one or more liquid extraction outlets. The system additionally includes one or more storage vessels each defining a liquid storage inlet coupled in fluid flow communication with the extraction member via one of the liquid extraction outlets. The system additionally includes a pressure differential device operable to cause liquid to flow from the container, through the liquid extraction member, and into one or more of the storage vessels. Furthermore, the system includes one or more fluid restrictors associated with the liquid extraction member and configured to prevent fluid flow in at least one direction through the liquid extraction member to prevent liquid in the liquid extraction member from receding from the liquid extraction member back into the container.
