Dip tube assemblies
A dip tube assembly having a tubular portion and a coupler portion, the coupler configured for removable coupling with the mouth of a container storing contents therein. The coupler portion comprises a first end for connection with a tubular portion; a second end for connection with a connector assembly, wherein the connector assembly provides a pressure to the container; an outer surface and an inner surface with a thickness therebetween, wherein the inner surface defines a lumen that allows the chemical fluid to be conveyed from the chamber through the tubular portion to the connector assembly; and at least one pressure relief feature on the outer surface.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR BEVERAGE PRESERVATION
A receptacle for storing, pressurizing, and dispensing packaged beverages. The receptacle includes an airtight chamber with a removable lid, wherein the joint between the lid and the chamber is also airtight. A gas valve allows for the inflow and outflow of gas, and a tap port and tap stem allow the beverage to be dispensed without breaking the seal of the chamber. A pressure relief valve allows for more rapid depressurization. The chamber can be used at high and low pressures, such as a partial vacuum, to prevent oxidation of a number of open beverages, such as beers, wines, and sodas. A pressure gauge port coupled with an optional pressure gauge allows a user to verify the appropriate pressure for the type of beverage being preserved. The gas valve may be disposed on a base of the receptacle, as may the pressure relief and/or the pressure gauge port.
Method of regulating pressure in pressurized beverage dispenser
A beverage dispenser with a variable pressure regulator cap assembly that includes a high pressure cavity defined by a cap body. The high pressure cavity receives pressurized gas from a compressed gas reservoir. A low pressure cavity is connected to the high pressure cavity via a high pressure gas passageway. The low pressure cavity defines a low pressure gas passageway that penetrates the cap body. A piston seat is positioned on a high pressure cavity side of the high pressure gas passageway. A piston regulates introduction of the pressurized gas into the high pressure gas passageway. A diaphragm is positioned between an ambient pressure cavity and the low pressure cavity and translates the piston relative to the piston seat. A main spring is positioned between a diaphragm and a spring hat. Rotation of the drive screw translates the spring hat to affect compression of the main spring against the diaphragm.
Apparatus, Systems, And Methods Relating To Transfer Of Liquids To/From Containers And/Or Storage Of Liquids In Containers
Disclosed are exemplary embodiments of apparatus, systems and methods relating to transfer of fluids to/from containers and/or storage/transport of fluids in containers. In an exemplary embodiment, an apparatus comprises a container including a fitment having an opening. The apparatus may include a valve within the fitment. The valve may be configured to inhibit fluid flow out of the container. The apparatus may also include a transfer tube configured to be positioned through the opening of the fitment. The transfer tube may engage and open the valve to thereby provide an open passage to/from the container.
CARBON DIOXIDE GAS SUPPLY APPARATUS
A carbon dioxide gas supply apparatus 100 includes a pressure adjuster 10 configured to adjust a pressure of a carbon dioxide gas supplied from a carbon dioxide gas supply source 3 to a primary-side port P1 and send the carbon dioxide gas from a secondary-side port P2; a relief valve 20 connected to a first channel PH1 configured to connect the secondary-side port P2 and a beverage barrel 1; and a controller 30 configured to control the pressure adjuster 10 and the relief valve 20. The controller 30 controls the relief valve 20 such that a pressure in the first channel PH1 is reduced in accordance with an output of a temperature sensor 81 configured to detect a temperature of a beverage sent from the beverage barrel 1 to a beverage server 2.
REMAINING AMOUNT DETECTION APPARATUS AND CARBON DIOXIDE GAS SUPPLY APPARATUS
A remaining amount detection apparatus detects a remaining amount of a beverage in a beverage barrel connected to a beverage server. The remaining amount detection apparatus includes a pressure sensor configured to detect a pressure in a channel for supplying a carbon dioxide gas to the beverage barrel, and a controller configured to obtain the remaining amount of the beverage based on a change of a detected pressure that is the pressure detected by the pressure sensor. The controller obtains the remaining amount based on a time ti between a first time tt1 at which a decrease amount of the detected pressure is larger than a first reference value R1 and a second time tt2 at which after the first time tt1, an increase amount from a minimum value Pmin after the detected pressure takes the minimum value Pmin is larger than a second reference value R2.
Beverage dispensing apparatus and method for active pressure control thereof
A beverage dispensing apparatus and methods for active pressure control thereof. In one aspect, a method for controlling a beverage dispensing apparatus may include: a) determining whether a first beverage to be prepared at a first temperature or a second beverage to be prepared a second temperature has been selected for preparation, the first temperature being greater than the second temperature; and b) selecting a maximum pressure threshold for a beverage preparation fluid circuit of the beverage dispensing apparatus based on whether the first beverage or the second beverage has been selected in step a), wherein the maximum pressure threshold is set by selecting from at least a first pressure threshold when the first beverage has been determined to have been selected and a second pressure threshold when the second beverage has been determined to have been selected, the first pressure being less than the second pressure.
Fluid pressurization and dispensing system
A fluid pressurization and dispensing system, including a coupler releasably attached to a vessel via an attachment means for securing a vacuum seal between the coupler and the vessel for maintaining pressure within the vessel, refreshing the gas composition within the vessel, and dispensing of a fluid contents externally from within the vessel without disturbing the vacuum seal. The coupler has a rigid single body unit having a tap head, a shank, and a cap which are contiguous thereof the coupler including a plurality of channels each integrally machined within an interior portion of the coupler. The system regulates a flow of gas from a pressurized gas cartridge via a gas pressure regulator, enables venting excess gas via a gas pressure relief valve, enables measurement of gas pressure within the vessel via a gas pressure gauge. Another embodiment of the system includes a coupler including a bi-level tap head.
