A tap for dispensing a beverage. The tap includes: a tap body defining a beverage outlet and comprising a closure member seat; a closure member movably disposed within the tap body and comprising a head movable into sealing engagement with the closure member seat, wherein the head has a streamlined configuration and the closure member seat is intermediate the closure member and the beverage outlet; and an externally operable actuator operationally coupled to the closure member.

Examples disclosed herein relate to conduits, devices, systems and methods, which may include a dispensing device including a valve configured to interact with an inlet stream, the inlet stream having a first pressure, the valve having an outlet area with an outlet stream, the outlet stream having a second pressure; and a solenoid configured to interact with the outlet stream.

A beverage dispensing apparatus includes: a plurality of reservoirs configured to supply respective fluids for delivery to an injection assembly having a single fluid input; a fluid delivery manifold defining a chamber, and having (i) for each of the reservoirs, a respective chamber inlet, and (ii) a single chamber outlet; for each chamber inlet, a respective valve configured to selectably open or close the corresponding chamber inlet; for each reservoir, a respective input conduit connected to a corresponding chamber inlet, to deliver fluid from the reservoir into the chamber; and an output conduit connected between the single chamber outlet and the single fluid input of the injection assembly, to deliver fluid from the chamber to the injection assembly.

Exemplary embodiments include a filling apparatus that can be connected to a valve on a keg, such as a Sankey-D valve, and can be used to pour alcohol and other liquids into the keg, which may be pre-filled with a non-alcoholic drink mix. The filling apparatus has an upper structure coupled to a valve assembly which is coupled to a lower structure configured to mate with a keg valve. The filling apparatus may be designed to depress portions of the keg valve to allow for both filling and venting of the keg simultaneously. The filling apparatus may include a Sankey-D coupler or a coupler with a probe portion as the lower body portion.

A dispenser head for in-line mixing and dispensing of beverages, which may be carbonated or nitrogenated. The dispenser head comprising a pump, a dilution mechanism, an additive mechanism, and outlet nozzle and optionally a regulation system. In use, the pump can pump concentrate liquid for the liquid product from a concentrate source to the dilution mechanism; the dilution mechanism can receive diluent liquid suitable for the liquid product from a diluent source, operable to mix the diluent liquid and the concentrate liquid and provide diluted concentrate liquid; and the additive mechanism can receive additive fluid for the liquid product from an additive source, to combine the diluted concentrate liquid and the additive fluid. A hydration system including a fluid reservoir, a fluid path in communication with the reservoir, and a magnetic quick connect interposed in the fluid path is disclosed. A fluid delivery system for a hydration system is also disclosed that includes a magnetic quick connect interposed in a fluid delivery path of the delivery system. The magnetic quick connect can also be used in a wide variety of fluid delivery systems. A system and method for dispensing beverage from a container, such as wine from a wine bottle. Dispensing may be automatically controlled based on a detected orientation of the container, e.g., dispensing may occur when a bottle is tilted as if to pour from the bottle and stopped when the bottle is oriented upright. Dispensing may be stopped when the container is rotated about its longitudinal axis even while in a pour orientation. A remaining amount of beverage in the container and/or an amount of pressurized gas used to drive dispensing may be detected and beverage dispensing controlled accordingly.
