Bag-in-Box Assembly
A bag-in-box assembly includes a box and a flexible container filled with a flowable material. The flexible container includes a front panel, a rear panel, and gusseted side panels adjoining the front panel and the rear panel along peripheral seals. Each peripheral seal having an arcuate body seal inner edge (ABSIE) and a tapered seal inner edge extending from each end of a body seal. The ABSIE has a radius of curvature from 1.0 mm to 300.0 mm. The bag-in-box assembly includes a top perimeter, a center perimeter, and a bottom perimeter as well as an aggregate contact length (ACL) at each perimeter. A top ACL is from 50% to 90% of the top perimeter, a center ACL is from 5% to 50% of the center perimeter, and a bottom ACL is from 50% to 90% of the bottom perimeter.
Container assembly
A container assembly is disclosed. The container assembly includes a container that contains a volume. Selected portions of the container assembly may be removable. A spigot assembly may be removed and associated with a filter assembly. An ambient light sensor may be included to determine when the filter assembly has been removed.
Package
The invention relates to a package comprising a carton and a flexible bag to contain a flowable product, the bag having a dispensing outlet for dispensing the flowable product, the carton having an internal wall defining to one side of the wall a first cavity within the carton for locating the bag, the internal wall having an opening within which a body of the dispensing outlet is located whereby an outer end of the dispensing outlet lies within a second cavity defined between an opposite side of the internal wall and an adjacent external wall of the carton, the carton including a removable area leading into the second cavity to expose the dispensing outlet and provide access thereto.
Container assembly
A container assembly is disclosed. The container assembly includes a container that contains a volume. Selected portions of the container assembly may provide indication to a user of features or status of the container assembly.
APPARATUS FOR FILLING INFLATABLE BABY FEEDING CONTAINERS
A deflating device for transferring a liquid content from a supply container into a baby feeding device is disclosed, comprising a positioning and holding arrangement configured for positioning and for holding a dual structure comprising (i) a squeezable bag prefilled with a liquid content and constituting said supply container, and (ii) an inflatable container constituting said baby feeding device, the positioning and holding arrangement being configured to allow transferring the liquid content from the squeezable bag into the inflatable container while the dual structure is held by; the device is further comprising a deflating mechanism configured to apply a deflating pressure on the squeezable bag thereby evacuating its liquid content into the inflatable container. A method for finalizing a baby feeding formula and introducing it into a disposable inflatable container is also disclosed.
Liner for beverage and food vessels
A liner for use with a fluid dispensing vessel. The liner includes a flexible pouch defining an interior region and configured to be placed in a fluid dispensing vessel. The pouch includes a top end that is partially sealed and that includes a first opening. The pouch includes a fluid passageway defined by at least two sealed boundaries and that leads from the opening to the interior region. The pouch includes a bottom end that includes a second opening. The liner includes a fluid dispensing fitment connected to the pouch and configured to be in fluid communication with interior region via the second opening. When fluid is poured into the interior region of the pouch through the opening, it can be dispensed from the pouch through the fitment.
PIERCING CAP AND PIERCER
The present application relates to a system for dispensing fluid. The system includes a flexible container including a spout that is in fluid communication with an interior region of the container. The system includes a cap configured to be mounted to the spout. The cap includes an opening that leads to a membrane and a first retention mechanism located in the opening. The system includes a piercing tube having a first end configured to puncture the membrane and a second end configured to be connected to a dispensing tube. The piercing tube includes a seal bead and a second retention mechanism. The piercing tube is inserted into the opening of the cap such that the first end punctures the membrane, the first and second retention mechanisms engage each other to retain the piercing tube in the cap, and the seal bead sealingly engages the cap.
Device for circulating stored drinking water with vortex circulation
A device for storing and circulating drinking water with vortex flow includes a base, a tank and an actuator housed in the base and configured to circulate the drinking water stored in the tank with vortex flow. The base includes an inlet port through which the drinking water is received and an outlet port through which the drinking water is dispensed. The tank is mounted on the base with a sealed engagement and is configured to store the drinking water. The tank has spherical or egg shape and includes an air inlet on an upper portion of the tank through which air can flow in and out of the tank.
MODULARLY FILLABLE SANITIZER DISPENSER
A modularly configured hand sanitizing fluid storage and dispensing device is provided comprising an outer container that can be attached to a fixed object where hand sanitation is desired. The dispenser has an interior cavity accessible from the exterior, through a door, and a fluid reservoir attached to hand sanitizer dispensers, placed either on the device or connected distally by using tubing to feed fluid to the dispensers. The placement of the dispensers can be made in accordance with local codes or in accordance with the Americans with Disability Act, to provide users with hand sanitizing fluid. The fluid is placed in the outer container by using fluid modules comprising bag-in-box (BIB) modules that are, when inserted, in fluid communication with the reservoir, filling the reservoir upon insertion. The module can be readily replaced when empty, while leaving the reservoir of the container filled for use while the module is being replaced.
