Systems and method for valve control in a fill assembly of a medical device
Systems and methods are provided for a valve shut-off system of a medical device. In one embodiment, the valve shut-off system of the medical device includes a first pin movable between a first position where a valve is opened and a second position where the valve is closed, the first pin including a slot, and a second pin having a mating geometry with the slot of the first pin, the second pin adjustable between a locked position that holds the first pin in the first position and an unlocked position that enables movement of the first pin between the first position and the second position.
MULTI-PURPOSE INSTANT CHILLER-HEATER APPARATUS
The present disclosure relates to a multi-purpose instant chiller-heater apparatus (100) having a housing (102) with a top portion, a bottom portion and a number of side portions. The multi-purpose instant chiller-heater apparatus (100) further includes a hollow tube structure (104) positioned within the housing (102) for passing the liquid to be heated or cooled through it. The hollow tube structure (104) is provided with an inlet (112) at one end of the hollow tube structure (104) for receiving the liquid and an outlet (114) at another end of the hollow tube structure (104) for providing chilled or heated liquid. The housing (102) is configured to store a heating or cooling means to heat or cool the liquid passing through the hollow tube structure (104) positioned inside the housing (102). The housing (102) is provided with an insulator layer for preventing heat exchange between its interior and exterior. The liquid passing through the hollow tube structures (104) inside the housing (102) is cooled or heated to a desired temperature and is discharged through the outlet (114) of the housing (102).
A PACKAGE
The invention relates to a package comprising a carton and a flexible bag to contain a flowable product, the bag having a dispensing outlet for dispensing the flowable product, the carton having an internal wall defining to one side of the wall a first cavity within the carton for locating the bag, the internal wall having an opening within which a body of the dispensing outlet is located whereby an outer end of the dispensing outlet lies within a second cavity defined between an opposite side of the internal wall and an adjacent external wall of the carton, the carton including a removable area leading into the second cavity to expose the dispensing outlet and provide access thereto.
Water cooler stand
The water cooler stand is an elevated stand for a water cooler that comprises a foot-operated mechanism for operating the spigot on the water cooler. The water cooler rests on the top surface of the stand and is retained there by a cooler cradle and two handle retention springs. A foot pedal located on the bottom, front leg of the stand is mechanically linked to a pressure plate in front of the spigot. A protrusion on the center of the front pressure plate will depress the push button on the spigot when the foot pedal is depressed. Use of the water cooler stand eliminates contamination and the spread of bacteria and germs to others. The water cooler stand may also comprise a slide-out sink basin and a hinged side tray to provide additional workspace.
Multiple channel single spike for a liquid dispensing system
A spike for dispensing fluids from a flexible bag, wherein the spike includes multiple fluid channels which transfer liquids from the bag to an enclosed dispensing chamber and air from the enclosed chamber to the bag to permit and control fluid flow within the system.
WATER TREATMENT DISTRIBUTOR
A distributor tube assembly for a water softener system has upper and lower baskets that provide superior performance in a universal form factor that allows it to be installed in standard tanks with standard-sized ports or openings. The upper and lower baskets provide spiral-shaped slots and varying angled slot profiles which enhance water softening and media regeneration processes. The upper basket has a taper which expands upwardly, while the lower basket has a taper which expands downwardly, and each of these tapers enhances the respective functions of the upper and lower baskets by forcing more flow through the wider regions that have more flow area than the narrower regions. The baskets may each be assembled from halves to facilitate manufacturing of the slot design and allow for an inverted-taper design of the lower basket while reducing manufacturing costs.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND DEVICES FOR DISPENSING FLUID
A dispenser may dispense a predetermined amount of fluid from a fluid container. The dispenser may include an actuator that applies a force to a nozzle of the fluid container to open the nozzle for a period of time based. The period of time may be based on the predetermined amount of fluid. The dispenser may include a weight sensor, wherein the weight sensor detects a weight of the fluid in a fluid container. The period of time may be based on the weight of the fluid in the fluid container.
Containers having one or more sloped inner regions for providing an improved ability for dispensing liquids
Described herein is a container for storing and dispensing a liquid. In one embodiment, the container for dispensing a liquid includes an upper region that is capable of being removed from the container, a sidewall region coupled or integrated with the upper region, and a lower region coupled or integrated with the sidewall region. The lower region includes an inner sloped surface within the container to provide an improved ability for dispensing the liquid from the container.
