FITMENT FOR DISPENSING FLUIDS FROM A FLEXIBLE CONTAINER AND RELATED APPLICATIONS
A fitment assembly for use with a spout of a fluid container. The assembly includes a fitment and a poppet seal with a flexible element. The fitment includes a top portion and a bottom portion. The poppet seal extends from the bottom portion into the top portion. An attachment portion secures the flexible element within the bottom portion of the fitment. The flexible element provides a closing force to move the poppet seal from a closed to an open position. The poppet seal has a closed position, an open position, and a transport position. The poppet seal has a central support member that extends from the sealing surface of the poppet seal into the top portion of the fitment in the closed and transport condition.
Coupler for Use in a Closed Transfer System
A coupler for use in a closed transfer system is provided. The coupler includes a body with an axial slot, an outlet, and a probe that extends from a first end portion to a second end portion and at least partially received within the body, the probe configured to be movable relative to the body between a first position and a second position to selectively control the flow of fluid through the outlet. A handle is coupled to the probe and configured to interface with the axial slot, wherein the handle is configured to move axially along the axial slot to move the probe between the first position and the second position.
VALVED CONNECTOR CLOSED LOOP LIQUID DISPENSING SYSTEM
Closed loop dispensing system comprising dispenser cap 300 connectable to a container receiver 100 and valve 200A, 200B, comprising:—a cup-shaped base 210, insertable into receiver 100, having inlet aperture 214 and longitudinal tunnels 218 which house occlusion elements 260, 265,—a spring support 220 coupled to the cup-shaped base 210 and spaced apart from bottom 212 of cup-shaped base 210 and provided with spring support top sleeve 222,—a movable sealing dome 240 slidably coupled to spring support top sleeve 222 so as to define a variable volume sealed chamber housing elastic element 230,—a locking cover 250 resting on the cup-shaped base 210 and having a locking cover top sleeve 253 surrounding a hole 252, wherein an edge 256 of the hole 252 and the movable sealing dome 240 are configured to be in contact with each other by sealed interference fit when the elastic element 230 assumes the elongated configuration. The dispenser cap comprises outlet aperture 327, vent apertures 325, unlocking member 333 having a bottom cylinder 333 and bottom central duct 335 inside the bottom cylinder and in fluid communication with the outlet aperture; the bottom cylinder can be coupled by interference fit to the locking cover top sleeve; bottom central duct 335 can interact with movable sealing dome 240 in a reduced configuration of the chamber; the inlet aperture is in communication with the outlet aperture; the at least partial occlusion elements brings the container in communication with the vent apertures.
Tube for a Withdrawal System and Method for Withdrawing a Fluid from a Container via a Withdrawal System
A removal system (1) with an interface 5a for releasable connection to an extraction head (2) of the removal system (1), such that the tube (5) can be used as a single-use part for removing fluid from a container.
SPACE-BASED GAS SUPPLY SYSTEM
A transfer system for supplying a receiving tank of a receiving spacecraft with a supply gas from a supply spacecraft. A transfer tank is disposed on the supply spacecraft and configured to retain a supply gas. A transfer line is coupled to the transfer tank, and one end thereof maybe coupled to the receiving tank. A transfer valve is operatively coupled to the transfer line. A heating system is thermally coupled to the transfer tank. A control system is operatively coupled to the transfer valve and the heating system. The control system is operable to cause a transfer quantity of the supply gas to be heated, and to open the transfer valve, such that a difference between the increased pressure of the supply gas in the transfer tank and a pressure in the receiving tank causes the transfer quantity of the supply gas to flow to the receiving tank.
Hands-free tank fill device
A hands-free device for use in filling tanks for storing liquids, particularly water tanks on recreational or commercial vehicles having either threaded or flange style collars. The device's spring clamp can be operatively moved between the open and closed positions to secure the clamp to the collar of the storage tank during use. The filler hose is then snapped into position within the body of the device which prevents inadvertent displacement.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING AND CONTROLLING DISPENSER FLUID REFILL
A counter mountable fluid dispenser includes a below deck reservoir for storing a fluid comprising at least one of a soap, an anti-bacterial cleanser, a disinfectant, and a lotion, an above deck spout including an outlet port in fluid communication with the reservoir for dispensing fluid stored in the reservoir and an external supply port connected with the reservoir by a supply passage to supply fluid to the reservoir, a supply access valve connected with the supply passage and operable to block flow from the external supply port to the reservoir in a closed position and to permit flow from the external supply port to the reservoir in the open position, and a controller in communication with the supply access valve for controller operation of the supply access valve from a closed position to an open position in response to receipt of an authorized supply signal at the controller.
REFILLING SYSTEMS, REFILLABLE CONTAINERS AND METHOD FOR REFILLING CONTAINERS
Exemplary sanitary soap refilling systems and methods are disclosed herein. An exemplary refill refilling system includes a housing, a pump located within the housing, and a bulk storage tank connector. The bulk storage tank connector having a liquid outlet and an air inlet. A liquid inlet conduit is in fluid communication with the pump the liquid outlet. A refill connector is included. The refill connector has a liquid inlet and an air outlet. The refill connector air outlet and the bulk storage tank connector air inlet are in fluid communication with one another. The refill liquid inlet is in fluid communication with the pump.
