The present invention relates to novel active compound combinations comprising at least one known compound of the formula (I) ##STR00001##
in which X, R.sub.1 to R.sub.4, A, n, Y, and m are as defined in the description, and at least one further known active compound from the class of the of tetronic and tetramic acid derivatives, diacylhydrazines, benzoylureas and further classes, which combinations are highly suitable for controlling animal pests such as insects and unwanted acarids.
