Intelligent fuel dispensers

In general, intelligent fuel dispensers are provided. In at least some implementations, an intelligent fuel dispenser can determine customer identities and/or other characteristics and provide customized fueling sessions based on the determined customer identities and/or other characteristics. In at least some implementations, the fuel dispenser includes a touchless interface allowing customers to complete fueling sessions with minimal physical contact with the fuel dispenser.

A shampoo dispensing assembly for refilling shampoo bottles includes a housing that may be positioned on a support surface. A plurality of dispensers is provided and each of the dispensers is positioned within the housing. Each of the dispensers contains a fluid soap. Moreover, each of the dispensers is selectively turned on to dispense a selected amount of the fluid soap for refilling a shampoo bottle. A control is coupled to the housing and the control is electrically coupled to each of the dispensers to turn each of the dispensers on and off. The control actuates the dispensers to dispense a selected amount of the fluid soap.

SPEED OF SERVICE SYSTEM

A speed of service system includes a ground layer, a sensor positioned within the ground layer, a radio communicatively coupled to the sensor, a sign controller receiving a signal from the wired radio, and a visual display displaying information obtained by the sensor.

Refrigerator with automatic liquid dispenser

A refrigerator includes a cabinet defining a fresh food compartment and a door pivotally mounted to the cabinet and including an interior surface in communication with the fresh food compartment when the door is closed. A shelf unit is disposed adjacent the interior surface of the door, and a container is supported by the shelf unit. A fill mechanism is positioned vertically above the container and the container is configured to receive liquid from the fill mechanism. A sensor is configured to sense a property of the container or liquid received in the container. A control is in communication with the sensor and regulates a dispensing of liquid into the container based upon the sensed property. The sensor utilizes a magnetic sensing element located adjacent to the container.

ANOMALY DETECTION DURING FUEL DISPENSING OPERATIONS

A system detects a fuel dispensing operation that indicates fuel is being dispensed from the fuel dispensing terminal. The system determines an identifier value associated with a volume of fuel dispensed from the fuel dispensing terminal. The system determines a measured volume per unit time parameter associated with the fuel dispensed from the fuel dispensing terminal by dividing the determined identifier value by a unit parameter. The system compares the measured volume per unit time parameter with a threshold volume per unit time parameter. In response to determining that the measured volume per unit time parameter is less than the threshold volume per unit time parameter, the system instructs the fuel dispensing terminal to stop dispensing fuel.

Distributed fuel sentry system with relayed communication

A fuel dispensing system includes a fuel tank, a pump that pumps fuel from the fuel tank, and a fuel sentry controlling pumping of the fuel from the fuel tank. The fuel sentry includes a processor, storage storing configuration data, a communication module, and memory operatively coupled to the processor, the storage, and the communication module. The memory includes instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: receive, from an external device and via the communication module, a request to perform a fuel dispensing operation from the at least one fuel tank, determine, based on the configuration data stored in the storage, whether a user of the external device is authorized to perform the fuel dispensing operation from the at least one fuel tank, and in response to determining that that user is authorized to perform the fuel dispensing operation from the at least one fuel tank, transmit power to the pump from a power source to allow the user to pump fuel.

FUEL PUMP

Devices, means and arrangements used for the supply or dispatch of fuels for vehicles, including dispenser of fuel is described. There is a system of inventory control, receipt printing, fleet control with supply restrictions, storage in portable memories such as USB, electronic identification of seller, customer and vehicle, improved control system and management of fleets with storage of identifiers and generation of accurate and updated reports for delivery to the customer and respective collection of fuel, wireless communication with the control center to prevent data manipulation that may take place with having physical wiring, high durability and performance keyboard, and mainly with receipt formats that can be customized according to the needs and requirements of the customers.

Fuel data collection unit with temperature compensation and over-fill prevention

A fueling data collection unit associated with a fuel transfer apparatus and for use with a system for managing fueling transactions of a fleet operator using fuel transfer apparatuses at one or more locations includes a fueling data interface module and a temperature compensation module. The temperature compensation module compensates for a volume variance of the fuel as a result of temperature variance from the standard temperature data to determine a volume correction factor at the measured fuel temperature, while the temperature compensation module uses the measured fuel temperature to determine a compensated, more accurate volume and/or mass of fuel dispensed through the fuel meter. In this way, the fuel data collection unit can accurately measure the volume and/or mass of fuel being delivered. This allows the provider and the recipient to more accurately sell/buy what was actually delivered and can avoid over-filling a fueling order.
