Fuel dispenser communication
Various systems, devices, and methods are provided for facilitating communication between a forecourt controller and a fuel dispenser. In certain aspects, a fuel controller translator is provided for translating commands transmitted between the forecourt controller and the fuel dispenser. For example, where the forecourt controller transmits commands that are compatible with the payment terminal, but not with the fuel controller, the fuel controller translator can translate the commands received from the forecourt controller into a format compatible with the fuel controller. Conversely, the fuel controller translator can translate commands received from the fuel controller into a format that is compatible with the forecourt controller.
High precision liquid dispenser
In one embodiment, a liquid dispenser includes a liquid reservoir, a measurement device providing at least one signal indicative of the amount of liquid remaining in the liquid reservoir, an electrically actuated valve coupled to a tube outlet exiting from a bottom of the liquid reservoir, and a processor. The processor is electrically connected to the measurement device and operatively coupled to and controlling operation of the valve. Further, the processor is configured to determine a valve open time for dispensing a requested amount of liquid. The valve open time depends upon a preliminary time based on the requested amount and at least one signal from the measurement device, and an adjustment to the preliminary time based on a difference between a requested amount and a measured amount determined by the measurement device for at least one previous dispense.
FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WITH CORRECTION MECHANISM
The fuel distribution system with correction mechanism includes systems and methods for distributing fuel at a plurality of fuel pumps. Fuel is distributed at a first fuel pump and at a second fuel pump. Erroneously, multiple payments are received for the distribution of fuel at the first fuel pump. One of the multiple payments is applied to an outstanding transaction of the second fuel pump. The difference amount between the payment applied to the second fuel pump and an amount associated with the outstanding transaction of the second fuel pump is calculated and resolved.
Food product dispenser and valve
A system for dispensing a flowable food product from a reservoir is provided. A wall of the reservoir defines an aperture therethrough allowing the flowable food product to exit the reservoir. The system includes a valve having a base member having a first passageway extending therethrough and a moving member having a second passageway extending therethrough, the moving member configured to slide relative to the base member between a closed position in which the first passageway and the second passageway do not overlap and an open position in which the first passageway and the second passageway overlap. When the moving member is in the open position, an axis extending through the first passageway and the second passageway extends through the aperture in the reservoir.
REAL-TIME DETERMINATION OF METER DRIFT VIA LOSS QUALIFICATION AND QUANTIFICATION
In one aspect, data characterizing a fuel storage facility can be received from a sensor in operable communication with the fuel storage facility. An estimate of meter drift of a flow meter of a fuel dispenser in fluid communication with the fuel storage facility can be determined based on the received data. The estimate of meter drift can be determined based on at least one predictive model that predicts whether a calibration parameter characterizing a calibration of the flow meter has deviated from a predetermined flow meter calibration parameter. The estimate of meter drift can be provided.
Method and system for blending and dispensing liquid cannabis
A method and system for blending and dispensing liquid cannabis enables dispensaries, pharmacies or other users to fulfill custom cannabis blends of THC, CBD terpenes, and the like. The variety of custom cannabis blends would accommodate the wide range of formulas needed to satisfy the next stage of the cannabis industry. Personalized cannabis solutions can be created using the hardware and software of the method and system.
Preventive Maintenance of Fuel Dispensers through Inventory Reconciliation and Identification of Meter Drift
In one aspect, fuel inventory data characterizing a level of fuel stored at a fuel storage facility can be received from a sensor in operable communication with the fuel storage facility. Flow meter data characterizing an amount of fuel dispensed from the fuel storage facility by a fuel dispenser nozzle can be received from a flow meter in fluid communication with the fuel dispenser nozzle and the fuel storage facility. Fuel transaction data characterizing the dispensing of fuel by the fuel dispenser nozzle and the dispensing of the fuel by one or more additional fuel dispenser nozzles in fluid communication with the fuel storage facility can be received. An estimate of meter drift characterizing a change in calibration of the flow meter can be determined based on the fuel inventory data, the flow meter data, and the fuel transaction data. The estimate of meter drift can be provided.
Fluid dispensing control unit and fluid dispensing system central web server software installation
A fluid dispensing control unit is provided that includes at least one electronic circuitry processor configured to function as a web server, at least one generic purpose input/output block for connecting to a fluid dispensing system device being a fluid valve, a meter, a pump or a tank for controlling or metering the dispensed fluid or for controlling the fluid pump or tank. The fluid dispensing control unit further includes at least one web input/output block that is provided for connecting the web server to a web enabling a remote control of the fluid dispensing control unit and the connected fluid dispensing system device via the web. The at least one generic purpose input/output block and the one web input/output block are connected with the at least one electronic circuitry processor.
Methods and Systems for Controlling Fluid Flow to a Fluid Consuming Asset
A system for delivering a fluid to a fluid consuming asset having a fluid tank is disclosed. An inlet of a manifold is fluidically coupled to a storage tank that contains the fluid to be delivered. A first distal end of a fluid transporting mechanism is fluidically coupled to an outlet of the manifold. A second distal end of the fluid transporting mechanism is fluidically coupled to the fluid tank. A primary valve is fluidically coupled to the fluid transporting mechanism and restricts fluid flow to the fluid tank when fluid level in the fluid tank reaches a first fluid level threshold. A secondary valve is fluidically coupled to the fluid transporting mechanism and restricts fluid flow to the fluid tank when fluid level in the fluid tank reaches a second fluid level threshold. The first fluid level threshold is lower than the second fluid level threshold.
