A liquid inlet conduit is in fluid communication with the pump the liquid outlet. A refill connector is included. The refill connector has a liquid inlet and an air outlet. The refill connector air outlet and the bulk storage tank connector air inlet are in fluid communication with one another. The refill liquid inlet is in fluid communication with the pump.
Device for transferring a liquid from a can to a tank in a sealed manner
A device (10) for transferring a liquid from a can to a tank in a sealed manner, the device including a drawing end-piece which comprises a main sleeve designed to be connected on the neck of the can in a sealed manner, a drawing pipe which presents a first end connected on the drawing end-piece and a second end adapted to be connected on the tank in order to enable the drawing of the liquid from the can to the tank, and a rinsing pipe which presents a first end connected on the drawing end-piece and a second end adapted to be connected on a supply source of a rinsing fluid, in order to inject said rinsing fluid in the can, where the drawing end-piece includes a rinsing hose which is connected on the first end of the rinsing pipe and which is slidably mounted axially along the drawing axis in order to rinse the inner walls of the can.
VENT SYSTEM FOR A FUEL STORAGE TANK
A vent system for a fuel storage tank and a pressure vacuum valve (PVV) module for use with such a vent system are disclosed. The vent system defines a vent path from the fuel storage tank to atmosphere. An elongate vent pipe extends vertically to a rain cap located at the upper end of the vent pipe. A pressure vacuum valve (PVV) is located in the vent path between the lower end of the vent pipe and the tank. The pressure vacuum valve maintains the vent path in a closed condition unless the pressure in the tank is above or below a predetermined pressure. By separating the PVV from the rain cap and placing it between the lower end of the vent pipe and the tank, it is possible to site the PVV at an accessible level for maintenance.
FUELING DEVICE
A channel forming member is attached to a filler neck on a nozzle insertion side where a fueling nozzle is to be inserted. The channel forming member includes a barrier section that forms an insertion flow path section for the fueling nozzle in the fuel flow path on the nozzle insertion side, while forming an annular channel surrounding the insertion flow path section so as to separate the channel from the insertion flow path section. The channel forming member further includes the following provided to the barrier section: an atmosphere communication hole for making the channel communicate with the atmosphere; a flow path communication hole for making the channel communicate with an insertion end flow path section downstream from the insertion flow path section; and a valve mechanism that prevents passage of the atmosphere through the channel in a fueling period. This contributes to reduction in introduction of the atmosphere into the fuel flow path through the channel in a fueling period.
Remote operated valves for ISO containers
A tank container for bulk storage of liquid materials is provided with with remote operated valves. The tank container comprises a storage vessel for bulk storage of liquid materials and having a height of about eight feet. The storage vessel includes an outlet valve proximate a bottom of the vessel, a fill valve at a top of the vessel, and a vent valve at the top of the vessel. A parallelepiped frame surrounds and is secured to the storage vessel for stacking and transporting of the tank container. A fill line includes an outlet connected to the fill valve and extending downwardly within the frame and an inlet proximate the bottom of the frame. A fill valve actuator is mounted proximate the bottom of the storage vessel mechanically linked with the fill valve for operating the fill valve remote from the top of the storage vessel. A vent valve actuator is mounted proximate the bottom of the storage vessel mechanically linked with the vent valve for operating the vent valve remote from the top of the storage vessel.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MONITORING FLUID OR MATERIAL TRANSFER INTO A RECEIVING TANK OR RECEPTACLE
An apparatus, including a monitor system which includes a microphone, a first power supply, and a transmitter which transmits a first audible sound, indicative of a normal flow of fluid into a tank, or transmits a second audible sound, indicative of a need to cease a flow of the fluid into the tank; an attachment device to which the monitor system or the microphone is attached and which is attached to a ventilation pipe or an object in a vicinity of the ventilation pipe; and a receiver system which includes a receiver, which receives the first audible sound or the second audible sound, a second power supply, and a speaker which provides a first audio output, indicative of the first audible sound, or a second audio output indicative of the second audible sound. The speaker outputs the first audio output or outputs the second audio output.
Apparatus and method for monitoring fluid or material transfer into a receiving tank or receptacle
An apparatus, including a monitor system including a microphone, first power supply; and transmitter which transmits a first sound indicative of a normal flow of a fluid into a tank and a second sound indicative of a need to cease the flow of the fluid; an attachment device, wherein the monitor system or microphone is attached to the attachment device, and the attachment device is attached to, or attached to an object in a vicinity of, a ventilation pipe; and a receiver system which is headset, earpiece, wearable device, or handheld device, which includes a housing; receiver which receives the first sound or second sound; second power supply; and speaker. The speaker outputs the first audio output indicative of the normal flow of the fluid into the tank and outputs the second audible sound indicative of the need to cease the flow of the fluid.
Liquid containers having a vent structure promoting improved liquid dispensing
Disclosed herein are embodiments of liquid dispensing container preferably configured as portable, handheld liquid dispensing containers. These liquid dispensing containers possesses a vent structure that provides improved liquid dispensing along with simplified vent construction and container integration. In these regards, these liquid dispensing containers advantageously overcome one or more shortcomings associated conventional liquid dispensing containers and other types of containers.
Solvent Dispensing System
Disclosed is solvent dispensing system comprising a plurality of air-operated double diaphragm pumps, adapted to couple to a plurality of solvent supply containers, and coupled to a plurality of dispensing nozzles, wherein each air-operated double diaphragm pump is powered by a separate air supply line carrying pressurized air, and is controlled by a separate air directional control valve. The present invention also provides a means of coupling a solvent container to a solvent supply line, comprising a sealing cap device for forming a seal around a solvent discharge opening in a solvent container, said sealing cap device having a check valve and breather combination and a means for coupling the solvent container to a solvent supply line. Also disclosed is a clamping system for pressing the sealing cap device around the solvent discharge opening in the solvent container.
Methods and systems for fluid container volume indicator
An example fluid container fill indicator system generates an alert in response to a change in pressure at the exhaust conduit or the fluid container. In some example, the change in pressure causes a reed or whistle type device to generate an audible alert. In some examples, the alert is a mechanical and/or electronic signal based on a change in position or orientation of a valve in response to the change in pressure.
