Dispensing meter and nozzle for fluid dispensing
A nozzle for dispensing fluid includes a nozzle stem that controls the flow of fluid out of a dispensing end of the nozzle. The nozzle stem includes an overmolded stem tip on a reduced diameter portion of the nozzle stem. The overmolded stem tip is formed from a compliant material and includes a sealing portion and a tip cone extending from the sealing portion.
DISPENSING METER AUTHORIZATION
A fluid management system includes an authentication device and a fluid dispensing meter, and the fluid dispensing meter includes a processor and a memory. The authentication device is configured to provide user-identification data to the processor. The processor is configured to recall approved user identities from the memory, to compare the approved user identities to the user-identification data received from the authenticator, and to control a trigger control mechanism between the activated state and the deactivated state based on the comparison of the user-identification data and the approved user identities.
DISPENSING METER FOR FLUID DISPENSING
A handheld fluid meter includes circuitry configured to invert the orientation of a visual output provided by a display of the handheld fluid meter and to modify the functionality of buttons that control scrolling on the display. The control circuitry inverts the orientation of the visual output based on a command provided to the control circuitry by a user or by a position sensor.
MOBILE VEHICLE FUELING SYSTEM
The invention is a mobile fueling system for vehicles that includes a fleet of mobile fuel stations, such as trucks. Each mobile fuel station has at least one fuel reservoir adapted for storing either liquid fuel, gaseous fuel and electric fuel. The system also includes a data processing hub and a network providing wireless data communication between vehicles, the fleet of mobile fuel stations, and the data processing hub. The data processing hub receives vehicle data from vehicles and fleet data from each mobile fuel station over the network. The data processing hub is configured to dispatch via the network the mobile fuel stations in the fleet to vehicles in need of fuel based on at least three of the following factors: vehicle fuel level, a vehicle fuel request, vehicle location, a vehicle owner stored fueling location preference, a vehicle owner service request, reservoir fuel contents, reservoir fuel level and mobile fuel station location.
Mobile vehicle refueling system
A system whereby a mobile fuel station may refuel vehicles is disclosed. Fuel reservoirs are provided in a mobile fuel station that may store fuel and dispense fuel through a hybrid fuel line. Fuel nozzles are provided which can be detachably connected to the hybrid fuel line and can measure and display fuel dispensed from the mobile fuel station. Communication devices and a network are provided that allow a vehicle and a mobile fuel station to communicate location and status information wirelessly with the network. Refueling services and maintenance services that may be carried out using the mobile fuel station are also disclosed and claimed herein.
Fluid filling device
A fluid filling device is provided, including: a covering unit, a quick-connecting unit and a base. The covering unit is configured to cover an opening portion. The covering unit includes a first flow channel, and the first flow channel is configured to be communicated with an interior of the opening portion. The quick-connecting unit is disposed on the covering unit and communicated with the first flow channel. The base includes at least one joint, a second flow channel and a connection portion. The at least one joint is configured to be assembled with at least one pipe. The second flow channel is communicated respectively with the at least one joint and the connection portion. The connection portion is detachably and communicatedly connected with the quick-connecting unit.
Fluid dispenser system
A fluid dispenser system is disclosed herein that is configured to switch between an open position in which fluid flows through a fluid channel and a closed position in which fluid is prevented from flowing through the fluid channel. The fluid dispenser system includes a valve disposed along the fluid channel and configured to move between the open valve position and the closed valve position, a trigger actuatable between an open trigger position and a closed trigger position which move the valve between the open valve position and the closed valve position, a trigger latch configured to move between a latched position in which the trigger latch fixes the trigger in the open trigger position and an unlatched position in which the trigger latch does not constrain movement of the trigger, and a solenoid with a solenoid pin. The solenoid is configured to translate the solenoid pin between an extended position capable of retaining the trigger latch in the latched position and a retracted position that allows the trigger latch to move into the unlatched position.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FUEL MONITORING AND SPILL PREVENTION
A system, methods, and apparatus for preventing receptacle overfilling are presented. The system can include a sensor member configured to couple with a receptacle and sense a material level within the receptacle, such as via a sight glass of the receptacle. The system can include a controller in operable communication with the sensor member and configured to instantiate the shutoff of material flow from a material dispensing system if a particular material level is detected by the sensor member. The system can include an intermediate member configured to relay communications between the sensor member and the controller. The intermediate member can be coupled to a fluid line and can further act as a holster for the sensor member, such as by facilitating the coupling of the sensor member to the intermediate member and/or the fluid line.
