FUEL STORAGE AND SUPPLY ARRANGEMENT HAVING FUEL CONDITIONING AND FILTRATION SYSTEM
A fuel storage and supply arrangement serves as a source of fuel to be dispensed via at least one fuel dispenser in a fuel dispensing environment. The arrangement comprises a storage tank for containing a quantity of the fuel, fuel piping configured to convey fuel from the fuel storage tank to a fuel dispenser, and a fuel conditioning and filtration assembly having an inlet in fluid communication with the fuel piping and an outlet in fluid communication with the fuel storage tank to return the fuel. A fuel conditioning and filtration element is interposed between the inlet and the outlet, the fuel conditioning and filtration element being configured to remove water from the fuel passing through the filter element. A flow valve allows and prevents flow of fuel through the filter element. Processing circuitry is operative to control the flow valve based on predetermined criteria.
FUEL STORAGE AND SUPPLY ARRANGEMENT HAVING FUEL CONDITIONING AND FILTRATION SYSTEM
A fuel storage and supply arrangement serving as a source of fuel to be dispensed via at least one fuel dispenser in a fuel dispensing environment. The arrangement comprises a storage tank for containing a quantity of the fuel and a pump assembly for drawing the fuel from the storage tank providing the fuel under pressure. A fuel supply line is configured to convey the fuel under pressure from the pump assembly to the at least one fuel dispenser in a dispenser flow path. A fuel conditioning and filtration assembly comprise a housing having a housing inlet receiving the fuel under pressure created by the pump and a housing outlet whereby the fuel entering the housing inlet exits the housing through the housing outlet. A filter element is within the housing and interposed in the flow path between the housing inlet and the housing outlet. A return tube receiving fuel from the outlet of the housing is also provided. An agitator manifold receiving the fuel from the return tube and having an agitator tube defining a plurality of agitation holes, the agitator tube being positioned proximate to the bottom of the fuel storage tank. In addition, the agitator manifold is movable between an insertion orientation and a deployed orientation. A flow control valve is provided for controlling the flow of the fuel along the fuel conditioning and filtration flow path.

A facility for storing and dispensing fuel, comprising: a storage tank (2) equipped with a vent pipe (3) and connected to a fuel dispenser (1) by a fuel dispensing system and by a vapor recovery system (10), and a condensation/separation device (4) connected to the vent pipe (3) and allowing fuel vapor originating from the storage tank (2) and water vapor originating from the outside air to be condensed,
characterized in that it comprises: at least one detection means (7, 8) cooperating with the condensation/separation device (4) for detecting the presence of condensed fuel and/or condensed water in said device and generating and transmitting a warning signal in response to said detection, and a control device (9) receiving said warning signal and transmitting, in response, information concerning the malfunction of the fuel vapor recovery system (10) to a control center (24).
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR LIMITING ACIDIC CORROSION AND CONTAMINATION IN FUEL DELIVERY SYSTEMS
A method and apparatus are provided for controlling a fuel delivery system to limit acidic corrosion. An exemplary control system includes a controller, at least one monitor, an output, and a remediation system. The monitor of the control system may collect and analyze data indicative of a corrosive environment in the fuel delivery system. The output of the control system may automatically warn an operator of the fueling station of the corrosive environment so that the operator can take preventative or corrective action. The remediation system of the control system may take at least one corrective action to remediate the corrosive environment in the fuel delivery system.
AUTOMATED WATER AND PARTICLE DETECTION FOR DISPENSING FUEL INCLUDING AVIATION FUEL, AND RELATED APPARATUSES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
A fuel dispensing apparatus and method for delivering fuel from a fuel source, including, without limitation, delivering aircraft fuel from a fuel tank to an aircraft is disclosed. The fuel dispensing apparatus also includes an electronic control system in communication with a particle detector and configured to receive fuel quality sensor information corresponding to at least one detected fuel quality characteristic in real time. The electronic control system is configured to determine, based on the received fuel quality sensor information, a particle ratio defined as an approximate ratio of a measurement of total water and particulate per unit volume of fuel, and a first water characteristic indicative of a presence or absence of a threshold amount of water per unit volume of fuel. Based on the first water characteristic and on the particle ratio, the electronic control system is configured to determine whether to initiate at least one corrective action.

A method for providing a safe and healthy water and water-based product, comprising: testing pretreated reverse osmosis water to determine whether it meets a first set of pre-defined specifications; introducing a pre-defined nutrient composition into the water, wherein the predefined nutrient composition comprising one or more of mineral nutrients, trace elements and nutritional supplements; testing the water to determine whether it meets a second set of predefined specifications; and disinfecting the water along with its container by UV irradiation from a UV light source to obtain a water product.

A fuel dispenser comprising fuel flow piping defining a flow path from a source of fuel toward a fueling nozzle. The fuel flow piping further has a filter manifold for mounting a fuel filter thereon. A plurality of fuel handling components are disposed along the fuel flow piping. A sensor device is mounted to the filter manifold, the sensor device having at least one sensor operative to detect a sensed condition related to the fuel dispenser. The sensor device further comprises electronics to transmit a signal related to the sensed condition.
