A representative system includes: an exterior housing defining an interior compartment; a water tank disposed within the interior compartment; a filtration system configured to receive a flow of water from outside the exterior housing, filter the flow of water and provide filtered water to the water tank; an ice maker, disposed along a first flow path from the water tank, configured to produce ice from the filtered water provided from the first flow path; an ice bin configured to receive the ice from the ice maker; a user interface configured to receive a user input corresponding to a request for chilled water; a water control valve, disposed along a second flow path from the water tank, configured to receive the filtered water provided from the second flow path and provide a controlled flow of the filtered water to the ice bin in response to the user input such that the controlled flow of the filtered water is cooled by the ice in the ice bin to form chilled water; and a water dispenser fluidly communicating with the ice bin and configured to provide the chilled water outside of the exterior housing according to the user input.

Treatment of fluid transport conduit with ultraviolet radiation
An approach for treating a fluid transport conduit with ultraviolet radiation is disclosed. A light guiding unit, operatively coupled to a set of ultraviolet radiation sources, encloses the fluid transport conduit. The light guiding unit directs ultraviolet radiation emitted from the ultraviolet radiation sources to ultraviolet transparent sections on an outer surface of the fluid transport conduit. The emitted ultraviolet radiation passes through the ultraviolet transparent sections, penetrates the fluid transport conduit and irradiates the internal walls. A control unit adjusts a set of operating parameters of the ultraviolet radiation sources as a function of the removal of contaminants from the internal walls of the fluid transport conduit.
WATER VENDING APPARATUS
A water vending apparatus is disclosed. The water vending system includes a water vapor distillation apparatus and a dispensing device. The dispensing device is in fluid communication with the fluid vapor distillation apparatus and the product water from the fluid vapor distillation apparatus is dispensed by the dispensing device.

Fluid purification system and method
An in-line fluid purification system uses a jacket (26) surrounding a fluid passageway (28), formed of a UV transmissive material. The jacket (26) may be surrounded by a UV reflective material (30). UV radiation (20) is coupled into the jacket (26), and the jacket (26) disperses and reflects the radiation over the entire cross section of the passageway (28). In this way, UV illumination of the full cross section of a fluid passageway (28) is ensured.
Sterilization structure of water outlet and water treatment device containing same
Disclosed are a sterilizing structure of a water outlet and a water treatment apparatus including the same. The sterilizing structure of the water outlet according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise a water outlet for discharging treated water treated in a water treatment device externally, and a sterilizer for sterilizing the water outlet.

A refrigerator provided with a dispenser, wherein a water discharging member that is installed in the dispenser includes: a nozzle pipe; a light source that radiates ultraviolet light from one end of the nozzle pipe to an inner space of the nozzle pipe; and a window that is provided between the one end of the nozzle pipe and the light source, that divides the inner space of the nozzle pipe and an area where the light source is disposed and that transmits ultraviolet light radiated from the light source to the nozzle pipe.
