The accumulator cartridge includes an accumulator cartridge porting connection configured to plumb into another one of the porting connections on the mounting bracket and also configured to receive, accumulate and provide the fluid to the filter cartridge to be filtered before being provided to the fluid dispenser.

The refrigerator appliance also includes a dispenser assembly with a plurality of liquid sources fluidly coupled to the dispenser assembly and a multi-fluid tube. Each liquid source of the plurality of liquid sources is fluidly coupled to the dispenser assembly through the multi-fluid tube.

LIQUID DISPENSER APPARATUS

An apparatus for dispensing liquid comprising: a base structure having a liquid inlet configured to receive a liquid from a liquid source, a gas inlet configured to receive gas from a gas source, a dispensing outlet connected to a liquid dispensing unit, a storage connecting portion connected to a liquid storage, and a passage arrangement configured to put at least two of the liquid inlet, the gas inlet, the dispensing outlet and the storage connecting portion into fluid communication with each other. The apparatus further comprises a valve arrangement seated in the base structure and configured to control fluid passage of the liquid inlet, the gas inlet, the dispensing outlet, and/or the storage connecting portion. The apparatus further comprises a control unit having at least one signal input configured to be connected to a user interface, and at least one signal output configured to control the valve arrangement.

PRODUCT DISPENSING SYSTEM

A flow sensor includes a fluid chamber configured to receive a fluid. A diaphragm assembly is configured to be displaced whenever the fluid within the fluid chamber is displaced. A transducer assembly is configured to monitor the displacement of the diaphragm assembly and generate a signal based, at least in part, upon the quantity of fluid displaced within the fluid chamber.

Beverage dispensing machines and backblocks thereof

A backblock includes a body with a cavity connected to an inlet and an outlet. A spindle is positioned with a first end within the cavity and a second end with a tab exterior of the body. A latching plate is configured for translative movement relative to the body. The latching plate includes a keyhole with a bore and a channel. The bore is dimensioned to receive the spindle and the channel is dimensioned to receive the tab. The latching plate has a first latch position proximate to the body and a second latch position spaced apart from the body. When the tab is in alignment with the channel, the latching plate can translate to the second latch position about the tab. When the tab is out of alignment with the channel, the tab retains the latching plate in the first latch position.

The valve assembly (11) alternately supplies a consumer with a blend of gases from the first set (144) of fluid storage chambers while charging the second set (151) of fluid storage chambers from pressurized gas sources (158, 159), and, upon a threshold depletion of gases from the first set (144) of chambers, supplies the consumer with a blend of gases from the second set (151) of fluid storage chambers while charging the first set (144) of fluid storage chambers from the gas sources (158, 159). The valve assembly (11) again supplies mixed gases from the first set (144) of chambers while charging the second set (151) of chambers.

An embodiment system and method for dispensing multiple dairy products includes a dispenser which houses two or more dairy product bases with different formulations, which may be combined with or without water to create a multitude of homogenous dairy beverages. The two or more dairy product bases may be mixed together first and then separately mixed with water, mixed together simultaneously with water, or mixed together without adding water. They may be mixed together with or without additional flavoring, ingredients, mineral or nutritional additives. The dispenser comprises a pump with a quick-release mechanism to allow for quick and clean maintenance of the system.
